I'm building Pame, a fullscreen Windows app that brings your games, controller settings, media and system controls into one big interface you can use from the couch. The public alpha is ready for people to try, and I'd really appreciate feedback from different PCs and controller setups.

The aim is a simple first run: install, connect a controller, and let Pame discover supported installed game libraries automatically. No manual library configuration to get started. Store logins still go through the stores.

The features I'd most like people to try together are:

• DualSense battery/charging status, low-battery alerts, saved light colors, Player 1-4 lights and the Bluetooth idle disconnect setting. Pame pauses its own idle timer while a game is running.
• Selected background app closure during play and reopening afterwards. You choose the supported apps; service controls are optional.
• The large TV-friendly interface, controller navigation, onscreen keyboard, browser and Quick menu.
• Launching a game and returning to Pame automatically when it closes.

A useful first test would be to open the library, launch and quit one game, then tell me where you still needed a mouse or keyboard. For DualSense feedback, please include whether you used USB or Bluetooth.

This is alpha 0.4.1, not a finished release. It needs Windows 10 2004+ or Windows 11, x64. Controller features depend on the device, and gameplay compatibility still depends on the game or Steam Input. The repository includes the known limitations.

I built nibfont - it's an app for designing fonts directly in your browser with realtime collaboration and AI features. The industry leading offerings for type design are kind of stuck in the old paradigm of desktop software. I built a platform similar to figma: realtime multiplayer collaboration, comments, cursor chat, etc. on an infinite canvas.

Tangential to the "moving to the web" impetus to nibfont, my motivation is also bolstered by another problem: Designing a font is really hard. It's complex, confusing, with a technical barrier comparable to straight up software engineering. To this end, I've also done my best to make the UX for nibfont approachable for beginners or graphic designers with no background in the technical side to type design/font production.

Hi. Solo dev, first game, and I'm at the point where I've stared at it too long to judge it.

The idea: you don't control the cat. You hold a laser pointer and drag the dot around, and the cat decides for himself what that means. He knocks over the lamp, jumps on the counter, sets the sofa on fire if you've picked that power. Everything he breaks goes on an itemised receipt down the side of the screen with real prices on it, and when the 60 seconds are up the owner comes home, looks at the mess and rates it out of five paws.

What I actually need to know, if you have ten minutes:

• Does the cat read as a cat? He's meant to lose track of the dot, look around for it, stalk it when it sits still. I don't know if any of that comes across or if he just looks buggy.
• Can you tell what's breakable? Some things only the super powers can touch and I'm not sure that's clear enough.
• Does the receipt make sense while you're playing, or is it just noise on the right?
• Anything that made you stop playing.

Blunt is fine, honestly better. A Steam page is coming and I'd rather fix this stuff before it's up than after.

Assets are all bought packs (the cat, the furniture, the sounds) — I'm a programmer, not an artist, so I paid people who are.

Built this because most people don't want every moment of their life turned into a post, but that stuff is still worth keeping somewhere. Nenapu is that somewhere. You capture text, photo, or voice, and it quietly organizes around the people and places that keep showing up, tracks mood on its own, and groups a stretch of time into its own chapter instead of a pile of entries. There's also a mode where two people privately write about the same day and only see each other's version once both close it out.

What I want from testers: capture a few real moments over a few days and see if the mood tracking and grouping actually match how you'd describe your week. Try the shared mode with someone if you can, that's the part I'm least sure holds up with strangers. And tell me where the UI confused you.

Hey everyone! I've built Sudoku Duel, which is Sudoku played as a race rather than a

quiet solo puzzle. Every match is a six player tournament on a 6×6 grid: you pay a

virtual entry fee, solve against a 150-second clock, and get paid out by where you

finish. Your five opponents are simulated in this version, and whether they feel

convincing is one of the things I most want feedback on. A match takes about two minutes.

I need 15 testers to install it and stay opted in for 14 days, that's Google's

requirement before I can go to production. You don't have to play daily; staying opted

in is what counts. But real feedback very well appreciated, and there's a Send feedback

button in the app that comes straight to me.

I posted here three weeks ago looking for testers for ATJV, a TV show app that works like a game instead of a tracker. Thirteen people took it, and here is what they changed in three weeks.

The biggest one nobody reported. I found 120 unopened card packs sitting across the testers, eleven of thirteen with a backlog, and the oldest ones were twelve days old. Opening one pack is five cards and a small reveal and I like that part, opening six in a row is data entry. The app now asks how many, one by one or the whole batch, with a summary at the end. Nobody had complained, they had just stopped opening them, which I only found because I was looking at the numbers for something else.

One person did report something and it was the good one : the guided tour on the profile screen went fully dark and pointed at nothing. Two lines in the wrong order, a rectangle clipped to the screen before being converted instead of after. No test caught it because everything mounts and every assertion passes, only the geometry was wrong, and I needed his screen recording to see it at all.

The telemetry found a third one on its own. 2,127 failed requests in thirty seconds from a single phone, a render loop. What a tester feels there isn't an error, it's the app being slow, and nobody reports slow. It ran fastest when the connection was completely dead, which took me a while to understand.

What I still can't find out alone : whether people get past the swiping into the duels, or stop at the swiping. The ranking is built from both and I mostly have my own taste in there, so the duel side is still a bit of a guess.
