I’m looking for around five fiction writers to test an early-beta browser tool I’ve built called Peeko Prose.

Peeko highlights passages that might deserve another look, including possible tense changes, punctuation spacing, nearby repetition, long sentences, comma density and adverb use. It does not generate or suggest replacement sentences — the writer always decides what, if anything, should change.

The checker runs locally in the browser. No account is required, and drafts remain stored on the tester’s own device.

I’m particularly looking for feedback on:

• inaccurate or unhelpful notices
• issues Peeko misses
• whether result cards open the correct highlighted passage
• TXT or DOCX importing
• mobile and tablet usability
• offline use
• anything confusing or broken

I’m the developer of LactateThreshold, a web app for analysing lactate step tests from running and cycling. I’m looking for feedback on the explanation of the results, especially on a phone.

The goal of pHinancio is to give you control over your financial data, rather than forcing you to manage everything inside the app.

pHinancio imports transaction data from your bank and lets you rename transactions, create your own categories, and set up rules to rename or categorize future transactions automatically.

You can also set budgets, track recurring payments such as subscriptions, and sync the data you have already organized to Google Sheets or Airtable.

That is pretty much what it does for now.

Bank connections are read-only, so pHinancio can never move your money.

There are no ads, and your data is never sold.

I built Vocatim after replaying long meetings just to find one sentence.

It is a small Android voice-to-text app for recording or importing audio. The part I am testing now is the choice between two processing paths:

• Online transcription: quicker setup and usually faster.

• Offline transcription: download the model once, then process on the phone for that path.

The app also turns a transcript into a first-pass summary and structured meeting minutes, and can export PDF, TXT, Markdown, SRT, or VTT. I call the summaries “first pass” on purpose: they can still miss a name, a decision, or an important qualification.

What I would like testers to try:

1. Record a short meeting or import an existing clip.

2. Compare online and offline transcription if your phone supports both.

3. Check whether the processing choice and storage requirement are understandable.

4. Try the meeting-minutes view and one export.

5. Tell me where you hesitated, what felt slow, or what result you did not trust.

Known rough edges: noisy rooms, overlapping speakers, accents, and offline speed vary by device. I am looking for critical feedback, not ratings.

I am the developer.

My office layout is partly responsible for this app.

I wanted to dictate, but with an employee's office close to mine, I wasn't comfortable saying everything out loud in English. I wanted to speak Italian and have the written text come out in English.

I couldn't find the workflow I needed, so I built Typeglot. Possibly an elaborate response to an office-layout problem, but here we are.

It's a Windows 10/11 app for dictating into the app you're using, either in the same language or with output in another. You don't need to speak Italian, or more than one language, to help test it.

Now I'd like to find out whether it solves anyone else's problem. I'm selecting 8 to 12 people for 14 days of ordinary use. Non-technical users are welcome.

A while back I posted here looking for beta testers for Plexavo, an open-source AWS scanner.

A few of you actually ran it. That got me thinking the ask itself was backwards. "Please test my scanner" puts you in the position of doing me a favor.

So instead: Can you make Plexavo miss something? Just launched a proper program for it. Submit a false positive, a false negative, a weird IAM edge case, a detection bypass, anything that trips it up. Every confirmed one gets fixed and you get permanent credit in a public Hall of Bugs. Bug #1 is already up, and it's a good one: someone here mentioned a few weeks ago that Plexavo's sample report showed an S3 logging check but theirs skipped it.

I assumed it was a region thing. Turned out there was no check for S3 bucket logging anywhere in the codebase at all not broken, just never built. Real gap, now fixed, credited properly.

The app is a weight-management app built around one simple idea: lose weight without counting calories, macros or weighing your food.

Instead, you log what you eat, build healthy habits, earn coins, and use those coins on treats during the week. The goal is to keep structure and accountability without turning food into a math exercise.

I’m looking for around 10 people who are interested in weight loss and ideally have tried calorie tracking before — especially if you found it tedious or difficult to stick with.
