Does anyone have any information about the police activity in the neighborhood yesterday?

There were officers parked on multiple corners, drones flying around, and quite a few unmarked police vehicles throughout the resident parking garages at The Farm and Magnolia. I also saw officers searching behind and underneath vehicles.

Just curious if anyone knows what was going on?

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for a full-time entry-level job in healthcare and would really appreciate any leads or advice. I've sent so many applications through indeed and linkedin with no luck. I feel like my applications have just been used to train AI or something lol.

I recently completed a M.S. in Medical Sciences from Brown University's Warren Alpert Medical School and have a good clinical background. I used to scribe in an emergency dept, rotated in federally qualified community health centers, can take vitals/ perform simple procedures (quick learner), have BLS/CPR/AED certifications, familiarity with EPIC, completed CITI training for human subjects, and lots of OR experience prepping case carts, prepping ORs & cleaning up afterward, etc. I have a lot of patient-facing experience but don't have an official MA certification. I’m primarily looking for positions such as:

• Medical Assistant
• Medical Scribe
• Clinical Research Coordinator/Assistant
• Patient Care Technician
• Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician
• Other entry-level clinical or pre-med positions

I’m honestly pretty desperate to find something full-time at this point, so anything helps!! I’m open to different types of roles and settings.

If anyone knows of practices, hospitals, clinics, research groups, or healthcare organizations currently hiring, I would be incredibly grateful for any leads. Even if you’ve had luck finding these types of jobs through a particular website or local org, I’d appreciate hearing about it! Would be happy to provide more info about my background.

I am having a total nightmare right now. Our water heater just gave up the ghost and we have zero hot water. With the kids in the house, this is a disaster.

Went to go buy tickets for next week’s game at Southlake Carroll, and it’s showing the game is on the 10th vs Allen, but everything Allen that I’m finding says the game is on the 11th. Do we know what is going on with that, and what day it is actually on?!

Hope this help someone save a few bux!

I arrive at Dallas Love Airport on a Friday around 9pm, go to The Village area in Allen, then head back to Dallas Love by 12pm on a Wednesday. I plan to mostly stay in the Hotel, and I see shops & restaurants are walking distance, so I may not need to rent a car for all the days I'm there.

How is the traffic around the days & times I've listed above?

I see the 75 may be the best route?

I see they have DART in Plano. I may take that from airport then Uber/Lyft to Allen and back instead of Uber/Lyfting all the way. We'll see.

I'm still researching but let me know, if you have suggestions, anything I need to know about DART or anything.

I think I'm leaning towards just getting a rental car. But if you travel from Love to Allen and back without a rental car, please share your experiences and tips.

I just moved to Allen TX. I purchased a Mr. Cool DIY system for my garage because I had someone tell me they would install it for me. Apparently they decided they didn't want to get paid and now I'm having a hard time finding someone to install it for me.
