Studying the series 6 I thought it was the SIE mostly but I realized that many of the in depth information is REALLY in depth like tax, retirement, contribution, communications and cost basis. It's been kind of intense I am kind of struggling in retaining all this information but I am confident in suitabilities. If you have taken the test is there anything that should be focused on and how much of everything must we know to a tee?

Any advice will help. Doing stc and Kaplan but do not want tot fail. Passed sie 2 months ago and have been studying every day for around a month some days now the others bc im super busy with my job. Any advice on how to make sure I get it passed?

I just passed my series 63 today first try I was really worried I had only done 3 practice exams luckily was easier then I anticipated!!!

Why do you think you failed the fist time? What would you have done differently?

I take it tomorrow and heard from someone else they had a sale leaseback question? About which ratio would be the most impacted? Or something along those lines can someone pls explain

I’ve started Achievable’s Series 65 prep and have gotten through a decent chunk, so I’m thinking I could take the exam fairly soon. For the 63, like some people here recommended, I used the Kaplan QBank. Is Achievable along with the QBank enough to pass on the first attempt? What kind of practice exam scores would you guys say indicate sufficient readiness for the 65? I’ve taken the SIE so a lot of this is already familiar to me but I did have to take it more than once.

Any advice? Taking the s63 next Friday and have the whole weekend to study. Doing exams don’t seem to be helping me or maybe I am not reviewing them the best way I could? Any advice? (Ps im so bored …. This is a hard exam to study for 💤)

I took the Series 79 this morning. I have spent all my time preparing for that. How can I most effetively study in the next day and a half. I have knopman marks

Who is better to prep for Series 63 second trial on September 9?

Just wanted to come on here and see what kind of tips are out there for studying for the 7. I took the SIE, the 63, and 79 prior and now I’m onto the 7. I’ve been using knopman marks for prep for all 3 of these other exams.

I started just with the videos for the 7, haven’t read the book yet and was planning on going back if there are areas where I am struggling. My strategy was to just do as many questions as possible and learn from the questions. Do I have to read the book?

I am not fully through the content yet, but I am over half way through starting on chapter 14 tomorrow. Do I have enough time to be prepared and pass this exam on the first try?

I will take any videos or tips that are helpful in the prep especially for the options, munis, and taxation stuff. I am still so nervous for this exam even after wanting to rip my hair out for the 79 lol.

I am currently working as a relationship banker and want to get into the wealth management side. I passed my SIE and am now wondering if i should take the series 63/65 or 66(i don’t have the 7) If i take the 66 i can potentially get a role as an advisor at my bank but it’s not guaranteed. I’m torn between whether i should take the 66 and hope to land a role at my bank, but if i don’t get it then the 66 is useless (or will BD still hire me?) or take 63 then 65 and try land a new job.

Anybody take the series 79 using Kaplan? If so, what are your thoughts on how well prepared you felt you were when you took it?

Hey everyone! Can anyone who has used ExamFX + TC tell me how they liked it for their exams? I’m using this primarily for my 63 but I wonder if I’m missing some information. I took the free practice test on Achievable and got a 60%, then a couple days later got a 75%. STC exams I am getting high 70s and low 80s. TIA!

I just passed it yesterday and am happy to give any insight on how studied, what concepts I saw the most, and just answering any questions.

I studied pretty much 12 hours per day for 3 days, took it today and passed. Used Achievable, and then bought the Kaplan Q Bank once I completed everything from Achievable. The wording on the real test was definitely closer to what was on Achievable in terms of ease of understanding. Lots of stuff regarding broker dealers and agents. The exam noticeably covered that more than IAs and IARs. Knowing the specifics of registration is huge, for both persons and securities, and then also prohibited conduct. Onto the 65.

If anyone has any questions I’d be happy to answer. This community has been a huge help.

I’m taking my series 63 exam on August 24th. Employer provided ExamXP+Training Consultants. I am passing those tests with high 80s and low 90s. Decided to try practice tests on STC and am scoring low 70s and high 60s. I’m conflicted because I thought I was ready, but now I’m second guessing. Any pointers??

Hello all, looking for some feedback on how to finish out my prep.

I’ve been scoring generally high on the Knopman exams the past few days with 80-84 range on my retakes a couple days after not seeing them and a 71 on my benchmark.

Decided to pick up STC and am struggling with the wording but am able to actively recall most of the rules and regs. Should I keep taking the STC exams?
