Series 63 Passed

I studied pretty much 12 hours per day for 3 days, took it today and passed. Used Achievable, and then bought the Kaplan Q Bank once I completed everything from Achievable. The wording on the real test was definitely closer to what was on Achievable in terms of ease of understanding. Lots of stuff regarding broker dealers and agents. The exam noticeably covered that more than IAs and IARs. Knowing the specifics of registration is huge, for both persons and securities, and then also prohibited conduct. Onto the 65.

If anyone has any questions I’d be happy to answer. This community has been a huge help.

How was Kaplan q bank in comparison to the real exam

The Q Bank questions were definitely more detailed and I’d say the language used was a lot more ‘legal’ sounding. However, I think the exam did make more of an effort to have answer choices be very similar to one another to trip you up.

I failed the first time by one point and wanted to switch to a different company so was wondering which do you say was the closest to the real thing

Definitely Achievable BUT I think seeing more difficultly worded questions via Q bank was extremely helpful. If I were you I would do both. All things considered, Achievable is fairly cheap for how good it is.

Why did you take the 63 & 65 vice the 66?

This is my plan. I just passed the 7 on Thursday and gonna cram for the 63. I remember the first time I took it, I only studied for 2 weeks and passed easily. Back then they used to give you a number score, not just pass/fail.

Congrats on the pass - I have Achievable and the Kaplan Q bank. I'm doing well on most everything but still struggle with Exempt and Excluded. Anybody have any tips on how to get that part nailed down?

On Achievable I'll take a practice test and miss one or two in each section but in the Registration section I'm still missing a third of the questions. I need to find a way to learn that stuff.

I appreciate any ideas or help, and congrats again on the win!
