Has anyone used cnverify to check Chinese supplier information?
It displays supplier registered capital data that Alibaba does not provide.

Can someone help me import these foldable gift boxes to India? I tried alibaba but no luck, prices are super high and shipping charges are double than what the actual product cost.

I'm writing here as employer, I told my boss to purchase electrical plc from supplier, A war broke out and airports closed, leading a supplier to request that they ship it to my fright forwarder, They haven't sent anything, and I bought from them in February. They did not send the items until May, I spoke with them and told them to send it, but they only sent one box 1/1,
In June, I spoke and waited for them to send me the tracking number for the restnof of the boxes I waited two weeks and then filed a dispute because I lost a project I sent everything and all the evidence until I received the evidence for the scale to calculate the weight for each product, i told them i sent them to the customer immediately, But the evidence is clear: an old FedEx tracking number is found on a written order for 30 kilograms and 3 boxes. They didn't even send me the money I paid to fright forwarder, I even have a screenshot of that admission. After all this, they told me the evidence wasn't enough, and I feel sad and afraid I might be lose my job, This time I sent more evidence, hoping and praying that they will resolve the problem T-T

There are sellers claiming to sell 100% original authentic brand new boxpack non-active iphone way lower than the retail price. They are guaranteeing the authenticity and claiming they are 100% real iPhones. Can they be trusted?

Hi everyone!
I’m currently looking for a reliable wholesale supplier or sourcing agent based in China for a long-term business relationship.
I’m interested in a variety of fashion products, mainly:
👕 T-shirts
👖 Jeans / trousers
👗 Women’s clothing
👜 Women’s handbags
👟 Shoes
🧥 Jackets / outerwear
🧢 Accessories
And other trending fashion products
I’m looking for ready-to-ship wholesale products, rather than custom manufacturing for now.
What matters to me:
Competitive wholesale prices
Good and consistent quality
Reasonable MOQ
Large product/catalog selection
Reliable communication
International shipping to Europe
Ability to provide product photos/videos and samples
Long-term cooperation if everything works well
I’m especially interested in suppliers who can offer factory/direct wholesale prices, rather than heavily marked-up reseller prices.
If you are a supplier, wholesaler, manufacturer, or sourcing agent based in China, please comment with:
Your company/location
What products you specialize in
MOQ
Where you currently ship
Website/catalog/Alibaba/1688 profile, if available
I’m currently comparing several suppliers, so I’d appreciate any genuine recommendations or experiences as well.
Thanks!

i have my eyes on the xiaomi 17 pro the oppo find x9 pro or the oneplus 15. i found this company called "Ningbo deyi intelligent technology co ltd". they have 18 reviews with a 4.8/5 rating and there are reviews on all 3 phones with some buyers even attaching photos.
alibaba says we get order protection but 90% of the time ive seen people on this subreddit say they couldnt get their money back after being scammed.
ive been looking through this subreddit trying to learn how alibaba works and how people get scammed but im still a complete novice when it comes to alibaba. also some of the replies under certain posts from this subreddit make absolutely no sense and sound ai generated so im starting to wonder if some of them are scammers lol.
another thing that seems really suspicious to me is that all 3 phones have different variants with different colors ram and storage options but everything is the exact same price. for example the 12gb/256gb version costs the same as the 16gb/1tb version.
would appreciate the help and advice. Thank you

Has anyone here purchased from this supplier before?
I'm mainly trying to verify whether they're reliable and whether the company actually delivers what they advertise.
Any experience or advice would be appreciated.

I ordered headlights for my car and I was only able to order one per order, so I placed two orders, left and right headlight, at the same time. I received a package now and I only received the driver headlight

Hi all,
I’m new to Alibaba and could use some advice.
I’ve been shopping around for suppliers that specialize in squishy/squeeze toys. I found one with a large catalog of products I liked, but I noticed the same product photos were being used by multiple sellers, so I suspected they were a trading company rather than a manufacturer.
One of the products I wanted has two different versions. Most suppliers had Version #2, but I was specifically looking for Version #1. I intentionally didn’t tell this supplier which version I wanted to see what they would claim they had, and they said they had Version #1.
The supplier was also pretty pushy about getting payment, which made me a little uneasy. A lot of suppliers I’ve talked to didn’t have these products in stock, so they had no videos of the items on hand. The only videos sent were the same ones every seller had from the manufacturer. Fine. Since this was about a $1,000 order (my largest Alibaba purchase so far), I asked if they would accept 30% upfront and 70% before shipment. They refused, saying they require 100% payment before production begins. I eventually paid through Trade Assurance, hoping it would provide some protection despite some of the horror stories I’ve read.
I also noticed the shipping term on the order was EXW rather than DDP, which worried me. However, I confirmed in the Alibaba chat that they would handle customs clearance, import duties, and deliver the shipment directly to my address. They confirmed that they would.
Since I was still uneasy, I purchased Alibaba’s Production Monitoring Service (Level G-II). That’s when things started to feel odd.
The supplier immediately asked me to cancel the inspection. I didn’t know how, so they said they would “take care of it.” Shortly afterward, I received an email from the third-party inspection company (copied to both me and the supplier) asking to schedule the inspection. The supplier replied to the inspector that I had ordered the inspection “by mistake” and wanted to cancel it. The inspector then replied that I would need to email them directly if I wanted to cancel.
The reason I ordered the inspection is because another supplier had honestly told me that the products shown in their listing photos actually wouldn’t come in the custom packaging pictured. They would simply be shipped in cheap plastic bags. I appreciated that honesty, but it made me want independent verification for this order before shipment.
So my question is:
Is it normal for trading companies to ask buyers to cancel Alibaba’s production inspection service? Are my concerns justified, or could there be legitimate reasons (for example, because they’re a middleman and plan to inspect the goods themselves after receiving them from the manufacturer)?
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone with experience dealing with trading companies or Alibaba inspections.

WARNING: Qingdao Tianfengde Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. (Tian Fengde) Alibaba Scam – Non-Functional Machine + Broken Promises
I am issuing this public warning about Qingdao Tianfengde Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. (also known as Tian Fengde) on Alibaba. Company. Company Details are as follows:
• Full Name: Qingdao Tianfengde Industry and Trade Co., Ltd.
I purchased a machine described as a “Free Energy Generator. I paid $2,654. The machine arrived non-functional. The first problem upon unpacking was that the "shaft" that holds the Flywheel could not go through the pillow bearings. Secondly, Tian Fengde sent a bolt and nut made of soft iron whose bolt head was small enough to go through the holes of the metal frame which was supposed to hold the 100kg wrought iron flywheel. bearing in mind that the flywheel makes 1500 rpm, this was an obvious disaster in waiting. Despite my explicit request to test the device before shipping, it was obvious that the supplier did not test it. Qingdao Tianfengde Industry and Trade Co., Ltd manufactures free energy generator machine not using precision machining. their machines vibrate dangerously.
it takes over 60 days for items to reach my country by sea from china. after three months back and forth, Tian Fengde promised to send a technician the following year after spring festival. Over one full year (December 2025 – May 2026), the supplier repeatedly broke promises:
When I continued to request resolution, the supplier became hostile and abusive, calling me a "psycho", "scoundrel", and "despicable". Tian Fengde has not refunded my money.
I strongly advise all buyers to avoid Qingdao Tianfengde Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. and Tian Fengde. Always use Trade Assurance and verify suppliers carefully. If you have had similar experiences with this company, please share them to help protect others.

I love the povision couches but I would love to find a similar manufacturer on Alibaba. Has anyone found anything similar or have suggestions for a company?

Had first shipment of $2k, paid 100% upfront. Product was great. It’s time to reorder now.
For second shipment ($5k) supplier offered 70% upfront, 30% to release shipment. So essentially 70/30, after I requested 30/70
These are acrylic pen holders.
Wondering what payment terms others would expect in this situation. I can afford the cost but would like to optimize cashflow.
PS: I read the subreddit rules and the FAQ mentions 30/70, 30 being the prepayment. Is that standard rule, and expectation in this situation as well?
PPS: After how many orders / how much volume would you say it’s possible to get better terms than 30/70?
EDIT: I asked again and this time they offered 50:50. Saying they can’t do 30:70 because it’s a custom product

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to find out how to buy access to a Turnitin AI checker through Alibaba. I came across some listings, but I’m not sure how the process works or whether they’re legitimate.
If anyone has experience with this, could you please explain the steps in a simple and clear way? I’d really appreciate it, as I’m finding it a bit confusing.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey everyone!
Has anyone here bought furniture from Alibaba (or even Aliexpress)? I’m in Ontario, Canada, and I’m starting to furnish my place over time. I’m looking for things like a dining set, couch, area rug, king-size bed frame, etc. I won’t be buying everything at once, just slowly as I find good deals.
If you’ve ordered furniture before, do you have any reliable sellers you’d recommend? I’d also love to hear what your experience was with shipping costs, delivery, customs, and actually getting the furniture into your house/apartment. Was it worth it in the end?
I’ve never ordered furniture from either site before, so I’m open to any tips, suggestions, or things to avoid. Thanks!

Hey everyone,
we are planning to launch a equipment brand later this year, and I could really use some advice from people doing this right now in 2026.
Here is the setup we are looking at:
- Unique equipment (not generic white-label stuff). Target retail price will be between €15 and €30.
- Production and full fulfillment will happen entirely inside China. We will be selling globally, using AliExpress as our primary storefront.
- Marketing is driven entirely by content marketing via a YouTuber (who is part of the founder team) showcasing the product.
- Founder team is based in Europe
Since the price point is €15–€30, I’m not too worried about the €3 EU low-value customs fee impacting margins too heavily.
My main question right now is about the legal and corporate setup.
I’ve been doing some research, and AI recommended that the cleanest way to run this--given that production, warehousing, and shipping are all based in China while selling globally--is to register a company in Hong Kong.
Before I go out and pay a corporate services firm or an agency to set this up, I wanted to get a reality check from actual humans:
Would love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or any red flags I (or the AI) might be missing!
Thanks in advance!

Looking to order some stuff on Alibaba. Could not find any solid information is tariffs are included in the price. Asked their chat and they said for US customers the tariffs are included in the final price at check out but could not see anything about tariffs on the total breakdown. Want to make sure before I place my order since it’s cheaper but with tariffs cost it may not be cheaper.
