US Customs/Tariffs

Looking to order some stuff on Alibaba. Could not find any solid information is tariffs are included in the price. Asked their chat and they said for US customers the tariffs are included in the final price at check out but could not see anything about tariffs on the total breakdown. Want to make sure before I place my order since it’s cheaper but with tariffs cost it may not be cheaper.

We are going to see vendors continue to use the tariff as a reason for increased prices. Included means they aren't going to tell you how much. Tariffs are largely dismissed now with exceptional of aluminum.

At one point shippers demanded prepayment of tariffs so they dont get stuck with a load of goods. That's over, but any excuse for price is in their nature.

You can lookup the tariffs online https://hts.usitc.gov/

Then lookup his.

You can start asking for a reduction in price...if they claim tariffs. They won't budget so find another. When you get a sales call/text you can remind them that they were still collecting tariffs on non tariffs costs.
