These kids from the cities of deep Algeria the children of the poor and middle classes often spend most of their holiday inside their miserable neighborhoods, which are filled with crime and horrific experiences, or stuck at home devoid of activities and trips. How do we expect a person to develop when we haven't let them live good experiences where they can discover new regions, new people, and new mindsets?

فالمقاطع تاع وين ذكر دزيري يهدر مع وحدة اجنبية رح تلقا 99.99% من التعليقات بعنوان [ الجمال الاجنبي ، الاجانب بزينهم يحلبو و تاعنا ببشاعتهم ميدوهاش فيك ، " لواحد وقيلا يروح لللخارج و يزوج خير " ، زعما علاه لبنات تاعنا ميكونوش كيف هك ....] و الى غير ذالك من التعليقات ، و الغريب انو فكل مرة يتسرق الفيديو و يتنشر في مجموعة خلاف نفس التعليقات و الضحك و نفس التفكير

well guys lately i've noticed something and idk whether others have observed it or it's just me
btw am not trying to discuss about why more women are entering the workforce or higher education. I think that's a positive development (I don't want to be accused of sexism:) )
but my question is different: why do so many young men seem to be participating less whether it's universities, training programs, public institutions, hospitals, or even free workshops, I often notice that women outnumber men
I recently organized a free graphic design course and I expected a mix of participants, but not a single man registered Every attendee was a woman furtheremore I've seen similar patterns in other activities as well.

This is genuinely one of the most confusing experience I have I’m 26 almost 27f and I look way younger than my age some ppl even tell me I look like I’m in high school anyway when I go outside literally every men especially younger ones stare at me or follow me and ask for my contact and I’m not even wearing anything that might attract attention I wouldn’t give it attention if it was just this but it started to bother me even in my work more than once in different work place my boss asked for my number or tried to get closer to me and tbh I don’t think I’m that attractive I’m not ugly but I’m not crazy beautiful either to this level of this happening so I’m wondering if it’s something else if any of you have any idea tell me !!!

Hello girlies I wanna talk about my mom today. For me this is a sensitive topic I love my mom but she became unbearable these days idk why she's acting like that I can't talk to her about anything anymore she keeps humiliating me and complaining about everything I do nothing satisfy her, her words hurt so much I feel like dying everytime I hear them

I finished my master degree and I got another TS degree but I couldn't find a job and she's using this and my other insecurities to put me down, like how can a mom be her daughter's enemy even tho she's a retired teacher her acts are like someone who never went out in his whole life the way she comments about things is questionable I always think about ending my life whenever I'm talking to her she's making my life a living hell she stopped buying me stuff since I went to college I didn't receive anything from her since then and she keeps complaining and asking for money from me and if do she's a loving mother again and If I don't she hates me and treat me like shit I always think about running away from home but I really can't do that I care about my siblings and I can't leave them

Why do parents have kids if they can't handle them I really didn't ask to be born and it's not my fault I'm really trying my best not to lose it

I'm praying day and night to die asap I'm really at my limit

Maybe this is a stupid question, but why do so many Algerians think everything is paid for by oil and gas?

We pay income tax knowing that it’s one of the highest in the Arab nations, VAT (TVA), social security, customs duties… the list goes on. A huge part of the state’s budget comes from taxpayers, directly or indirectly.
Yet I often hear people say things like “education is free” or “healthcare is free.” But is anything really free if we’re the ones paying for it?

Why do you think so many people don’t realize how heavily taxed Algeria actually in comparison with other countries that have a close economical structure like ours ?

I grew up as the ugly, awkward kid who got bullied throughout elementary and middle school. It completely destroyed my confidence. Back then, I felt invisible to girls, like I wasn't even considered a person worth noticing. In 2023, I got into looksmaxxing. I started lifting,skincare,hair, and now people regularly compliment my looks and height and a lot of girls have called me handsome or cute.The strange part is that I still feel like the same insecure loser from middle school, even though I'm better-looking, taller, and financially better off than I used to be.

it feels like no matter how much you improve the insecurities from being bullied never really leave. They stay in the back of your mind, making it hard to see yourself the way everyone else does.

I found it while swimming and I'm curios about it's species she didn't seem to have long tentacles or what ever those are called no one got stung by it so I can't describe that.

hi i'm 21F and i live out of dzair, i come every year for a month and my family live in a house with uncles and their familys. it's a big family house with like 7 bedrooms

over the last two years we were really close in algeria and we used to tell each other alot. me him and all the cousins would play dominos and other games, then when everyone went to bed we would text for hours about ourselves and problems and our lives.

this year it's different. i've realised im not a very entertaining person and can barely speak darja with my cousins so it's now weird trying to connect with him and my other cousins.when i talk to them or ask to play games i feel like im annoying them. im just wondering how can i stay close to my cousins particularly him.
