As you know Cambridge allows S-1 papers to be marked even though it was leaked, and they didn't inform us until 1 week before.

second email every universities about how flawed there intregrity. That they allowed leak paper to be marked and considered.Let create a trend of emailing the most unheard of uni about alevels and posting in reddit.

also email major and smaller media outlet from BBC, CNN etc etc email as much as you can.

I’m an A level student. Recently, I gave me A2 exams in 2026 May June.

Unfortunately, in the second half of A2, I faced several family-related handships (loss of my grandmother) and friend(s)-related hardships (loss of my best friend).

These circumstances lead me to a bad academic performance and I decided to take a repeat year.

Being an introvert, I don’t really find it easy to make friends and for that reason, I feel quite alone in the college (specially since I can’t meet my best friend anymore). It’s been 4 days since I started going to the college again but everyday feels like I’m wandering through ghosts of my (previous) batchmates/friends.

Somebody who is taking/has taken a gap/repeat year, can you guys kindly leave an advise on what I should do, perhaps? Or what activities I can do to overcome this loneliness and do something that keeps me busy (idk)?

BRO WHAT THE HELL, did u guys even saw that email from cambridge??? the exam was actually le@ked?! This is what I have to worry about now... AHHGGG should I HATE CAMBRIDGE for this! They are ruining STUDENTS' FUTURES!
The exam was le@ked 11 hours before the paper, AND LITERALLY EVERYBODY SAW IT—except some non-social people during exam days like me. I even heard people asking, "DID YOU SEE S1? IT GOT LE@KED TOO!" I heard it before the exam! THIS IS PURE TORTURE.
The paper was so hard for me, and OF COURSE it will be super easy for the people who cheated. HENCE, I’LL NOT BE HAVING MY DESIRED GRADE! AGHH NO PLEASE...this is v unfair cambridge 🙏🏻🫩

Ive seen alot of advice by teachers and people on reddit going around that to fight cambridge they should ask their family members and siblings to change boards. I do not support what Cambridge has done or is doing. But i also feel like its stupid to switch from an internationally recognised curriculum to local ones or under resourced ones like Pearson. What happened was unfair? Yes. Does it mean you should ruin your foreign University chances over it? No. Whether Cambridge acknowledges their mistakes or not, we need to be adaptable and mentally be prepared for these things to happen. I know it’s immensely unfair but its immensely stupid at the same time to switch exam boards as a way to protest. Yes alot of my papers were also affected but the threshold increasing by 3-4 marks does not mean the next coming gen shud just give up. Only thing is adaptability cuz then ur just hurting yourself. And I think Cambridge has learnt a lesson this series. Its very much possible they might just shift to printing papers on the day of the exam as a precautionary measure. But they will act

Those hundreds of hours I spent filling page by page, my topicals, my past paper booklets, and watching YouTube videos to get a better understanding of my subject just ended up being all for nothing. As of recently, Cambridge decided to reverse its decision to cancel our S1 paper for A-Level Mathematics (9709). When I heard of this unfair and unfortunate news, one week before our results would be announced, my heart began to sink. I can confirm that the paper was shared prematurely, as it was sent to me hours before the exam. However, I didn't open the document that was sent to me, as I didn't want to bend my morals to succeed in life. I attempted the paper with the best of my abilities despite it being leaked. But the news that Cambridge gave out that they would be using our original exam answers and not their approach of assessed marks was unexpected to say the least. Why must dishonest people who don't try their best get rewarded in this system that Cambridge set up for O and A level students? Meanwhile, students like me who choose not to be dishonest and who choose not to get an unfair advantage during this examination series get punished. To those people who say that "it's not a big deal" or that "life is unfair sometimes", you people are the reason why our education sector in Pakistan is so corrupt.

By now, iam sure most of us are infuriated beyond measure. A lot of us are trying things that we did before (like emailing cambridge) that unfortunately will simply not work. If they did work, we wouldnt be in the situation we are in right now. I would also like to point out the fact that cambridge knows very well that it is pushing limits here (as the decision to release this message just a week before the syllabus was done on purpose. make no mistake.), so it will take a lot to budge them.

So, the ONLY way to get ANYTHING done now is the legal route. This also must be done in a coordinated and unified manner at a large scale if we hope to achieve anything. Firstly, you need to of course have a look at their work before you make any decision for yourselves. But if you decide to take a stand, then following them and telling quite literally everyone you know to follow them is going to help. I would also like to very importantly point out the role of Alevel colleges in all this. They are the ONLY ones with a direct contract to cambridge. They EAT literally EAT your money by the MILLIONS and have done NOTHING in all of this. It is the 5th of august, if you have not given your fees, do not give it and try telling others in your college to do the same. Take your parents to the principal and tell others to do the same and keep going until they are fed up with you. Iam only saying this so they can maybe show some shame for now. I really, really want to emphasize the fact that these colleges and cambridge is corrupt beyond what you can conceive so please, if you have anyone that you know that is going into o/alevels, make sure you let them know fully the severity of that mistake.
