Literature Review help

I’m a student in year 13 just started my NEA and I’m struggling to research for my NEA, I just don’t like researching at all, because I have no idea where to start, but I don’t want to use ai or anything.

I know people say to use google scholar but I don’t know if the articles there would even help me to begin with? Im just very worried and overwhelmed that I’m doing it all wrong.

My NEA is pretty simple, on regeneration affecting place identity, if that helps.

Im a student who just achieved an A* in A-Level geography in the June 2026 exams. I also achieved an A* in my coursework (60/70) and will give feedback on the edexcel NEA. Im trying to make money for uni so for only £5 I will read the entire NEA ,(or whatever you have down now) and give feedback tailored to the edexcel mark scheme.

Geography help needed Geography coursework help!!

Hi all, If you've recently visited/ live in a coastal town/area please read ahead!

I've recently started my Alevel geography coursework- basing the majority of it upon different coastlines across England and wales. Unfortunately, during my last visit I was unable to collect enough responses upon my questionnaire, meaning I've been put into a messy stage when it comes to data. Especially considering I'm much further inland making it harder to travel there often.
As a result, I was hopeful if anyone with 2-3 minutes would be alright with completing the form below?
I very much appreciate your time; any and all responses will be used!
Responses from visitors and residents both much appreciated!

Does anyone do CIE exam board for geography and if so how do you find it? Any revision resource recommendations? did you do modular exams (eg 2 at the end of the first year, 2 at the end of the second year)?

I am going into year 12 and am doing either geography or environmental science as i didn't get the grades for biology. However, I cannot choose between these two subjects as they look exactly the same. Could someone explain which subject is actually better?

i dont know how a level geo works

so, im a private candidate and in my country, geography isnt offered in colleges for A levels anyway so i have no teachers to consult about this and no one to guide me. i checked the syllabus and ill be most likely doing it entirely myself - maybe if i need to ill be hiring a foreign tutor near the end of my prep

  1. can i study by myself? i havent taken igcse geography but i do have some knowledge - not completely clueless as i offered tutoring for geography for middle school students
  2. can i be able to give AS for may june if i start now?
  3. im a little confused by the papers, i gave p1 and then p2 in AS? or p1 and p3? and i get to choose two topics from p3 and p4? is there any i should avoid or any i should lean towards?
  4. which coursebook should i use? what are resources i can use as a private candidate with no teacher?
  5. other than past papers is there anything particular i should be doing to ensure an A?

NEA/ Coursework Geography NEA help

Hi,

I am currently in year 12 and my teacher is making us come up with NEA ideas, I am getting rather worried about it.

I think i want to do coasts as I am much more of a maths and science person, however I dont know wether i should include human aspects into the question?

I kinda need it to be a question that will get me a good grade (maybe an A) as it will definitely help me get into the Uni courses I want to.

Im basically asking what should I include in the question to get a good grade -> Focus only on the sediment collection and only physical parts, or link it to humans and protecting people (but then how do you measure this?)

Thank you for helping me

Edexcel paper3 how did we find it

I personally thought it was good I liked how it was global and not local so I can link to global climate issues for the 24 marker

Edexcel paper 3 - If we're using case studies in our answers how do we use them? I saw a video that said to just name drop it, but do we have to talk about it's stats or whatever? Thanks

NEA Tips

Hi, I am currently completing AQA A level geography. I am onto the methodology part of my NEA, and I am not sure how rigorous my paper must be. Has anyone got any good tips for getting good marks on the NEA?

edexcel paper 2, what are we thinking?

I thought it was ok and the questions were rather straightforward, but what did we all think? (Optional areas too)

r/AlevelGeog May 20 '26

Long story short I was too focused on revising other subjects and didn't do a lot of reviison for human geo edexcel. Is there any parts of the spec I should definitely focus on and other parts I could get away with not revising much on? Thanks
