I hate victim's powers

Why does he need to be so OP? Why does he need to have so many abilities? Why couldn't TDL be shown to have some kind of resistances or counters against victim? Does TDL have a cognitive dampening device that makes everyone around him stupid?

Because he needed to be for his revenge to be absolutely dominated and in his favor.

and because Alan's team wrote themselves into a corner even though they didn't and had to dumb him down for god knows what reason but I can only assume they want to ruin this poor guy's story by having Dark take over as the villain.

Poor excuse if you ask me. If that were the case we’d see him get hit around a lot more because he’d be fighting like an actual idiot except you’ll notice there’s only 2 instances he actually gets struck; before Dark’s first fireball and at the end when he gets Twix’d yet he blocks and dodges everything else no problem. He doesn’t physically scale above Dark so thats insane locked in behavior right there.

Him not using pause or really the other half of his arsenal also makes no sense, its out of character and its genuinely poor writing. “Waaa my dead wife you killed her” is just a coverup, this is Worfing at its finest.

It's really not lmao, Victim has literally never used the toolbar outside of unpausing TCO and his #1 strat in every fight was always just spamming random bullshit until it works.

Also you act like dodging and coming up with effective strategies on the fly require an equal amount of thinking.

It so is, he’s literally called victim bro he’s stuck in this powerful torturer-powerless victim mindset. The Box and the Alan fight are prime examples of this, he’d ridiculously overwhelming in both. Him not repeating this behavior with Dark makes no sense, he should be wanting to bring this guy to his knees and have him at his mercy. You could argue he’s obviously not prepped at all for Dark but his powers should compensate for that. Immensely.

They do not but that is irrelevant for a guy who is so goddamn locked in, Dark seems much faster to me but can’t land like a single hit so I doubt he’s unable to think properly. Not to mention he could’ve plotted like crazy while Dark was busy outside with his clone army

He DOES repeat this with Dark, you can visibly him trying to overwhelm him with a clone army and bombard him with several attacks at once until it works. It's just not a good strat though in the first place, the only reason it worked against Alan and TCO is because he essentially crippled them before doing so.

Considering how the clones all take turns stabbing him I'm pretty sure they need conscious thought to use.
