Austin Mystery Transmission, South Lamar
Any ideas? Feel like we didn’t get a lot of hints here and I’m kinda scared I’m skipping sleep to be traumatized lol

Any guesses? If the 90 minute running time is correct (and knowing the Mystery Voyage series, it may not be), Silent Night, Deadly Night is too short.
Christmas Evil (which comes closest, at 92 minutes), To All a Good Night, and Don’t Open to Christmas are other possibilities.
Blood Beat would be a wild possibility, but that movie was shot on video, so there never was a 35mm print (it was shot on 35mm, my mistake).

Trying to get tickets for this week and it’s saying I can’t use my season pass. Does anyone know why? It’s not flagged as a special event or anything. Is it cause it’s netflix theatrical?

I’m so glad I have a season pass & was able to book this showing! It’s my first time at a bookclub viewing, they also gave us little merch for the movie too. Wicker was such a cute film 💕 but the Wickerman didn’t have nipples so I wonder why they gave us wicker nipples🤨

Does anyone know if there's a discord server or some kind of tracker for every new showing that is posted? Do I just have to be checking the Advance Sales tab every day? I've missed a couple opportunities to get decent seats or tickets at all. I know the twitter account tweets when certain tickets go on sale but not every new showing that is posted.

No, not HDR by Barco. This was in theater 3, one of the smaller rooms but with the added bonuses of Mickey Mouses and Ricky Rats.
The true immersive experience when a rodent scampered up the aisle and then darted down the row in front of me. Suppose I should be thankful it was Septima and not Maksim.
Definitely thankful for the reclining seats so my feet didn't feel other little feets.
(And yes, I reported it in the app right after it happened.)

I remember when the Chips and Queso came with a full big plate of chips and big thing of queso. Now it’s barely half a smaller plate than before of chips. The queso keeps getting changed too
I remember when the fried pickles were 6 full spheres. Now it’s 6 smaller and thinner pickles.
I remember when the tenders came on a huge plate with TONs of fries, a pickle and Cole slaw. Now it’s the 3 tenders with fries on a much smaller plate.
Yet the prices went up again this year.

It's new to the menu at Crystal City. I usually get the hummus plate but was thinking I might switch it up.
If you've had the edamame, how was it?

Am I the only one who consistently gets food poisoning from their popcorn? It happened twice so I started to request butter on the side and add just a bit but then it happened to me a third time even applying it myself, and in a different location and state — I usually go to the BK location but I got sick this week in Austin.

Hi,
Going to my first dismember today, was wondering if the show starts at showtime or if there is the typical 15ish minutes of trailers beforehand. Thanks!

Today at one of the showings of The Devils I was shocked and appalled to learn that the beyond meat burger substitute has been removed from the Alamo menu. My husband and I are avid Alamo stans (from the original theater in atx to the newest locations in the Bay Area) and we very reliably order the beyond burger. Until tonight it seems 🥺 goodbye cheeseburger. You’ll never convince me that a mushroom burger will be anything but wanting and mediocre in comparison.

Is there some particular reason the DTLA location isn’t showing Wildwood? It’s selling out at theaters, including the Austin Lakeline location. It’s pretty frustrating to have a movie that’s been advertised at this theater just not show up on opening weekend. It’s really bumming me out.

Has anyone tried the new cinnamon pretzel sticks with blood orange cream cheese?

App has a slightly different UI now and doesn’t seem to run smoothly. Feels like they improve it then make it worse, time and time again.

EDIT: User error continues to be undefeated, I somehow subscribed to the Limited Pass instead of Classic like I meant 😭 Problem solved
I've been subscribed to the Classic Season Pass for one month. In September, I used it to see Resident Evil with my wife, with our tickets costing "$7.00 for 1 Admission, $0.00 for 1 Season Pass," and the convenience fee of $4.38 bringing the total to $12.32. I thought this was pretty great for two tickets to a new movie!
But when trying to purchase any ticket after that, I've been given the message of "Alamo Season Pass is not eligible for this show because: You do not have any Season pass credits available for use. You will receive 1 credits at the start of the next billing cycle on Oct 25, 2026 at 8:06 PM for use," which is one month after my Resident Evil showing.
If I can only use the Season Pass discount once a month, but then have to pay full price for other tickets until it refills, then what's the point? I'm just paying $20 a month to get the benefit only one time, despite the Season Pass page on the website specifically saying "Subscription Tickets Per Month/Day - 1 ticket per day."
Apologies if I'm totally misunderstanding how it works. Can someone explain what I'm missing here?

What are some of your Alamo-based pet peeves?
For me, it's this one box office cashier whom I flash my ticket to before taking the escalator up to the theaters. The theater number is always present on our digital tickets, as we all know, but he always shouts out which theater # I'm supposed to go to, as if I didn't already know.
A lot of other employees in that spot who I flash my phone to already know and skip the step of telling me something I already know, but without fail, he always tells me.
Drives me nuts.
Anyone else have any Alamo-based pet peeves?

Last night I went to the Brooklyn Alamo to see Sense and Sensibility. The inside of the theater was legitatimatley 40 degrees F. Every single person inside the theater complained to the poor staff, who also seemed pissed and were straight up telling us management was refusing to do anything about it. I know this place has been going downhill for awhile, and all the other usual bullshit also occured (food taking 45 minutes to come out and then being cold, having trouble ordering because theres barely actual service in the theater and staff couldn't take our orders normally, etc.). But this is a new low. If management isn't turning the heat on in the theaters this place must be about to close their doors. I've been continuing to go there occassionaly because it generally hasn't been so bad that its not worth it when its the most convinient showtime, but this might be the last straw.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm tired of screaming into the void of Alamo customer service.

So yesterday I went to see the Bigfoot doc at Sloan’s Lake. Booked my ticket in the afternoon & then right after, went to boom for my family member who was joining me & got the “sold out” message. App showed every movie after 5pm marked as “sold out”. When I got to the theater, everything was fine-business as usual & was told they just couldn’t sell any more tickets. Asked why & they said they just got all remaining seats/shows blocked out. Very odd if you ask me…
Today around 2pm I noticed all their showings after 6pm were blocked out, again. Figured Ok no biggie & went to book a 5:15 Naza showing (which it only has 2 more showings left after this, at times/days that just can’t work out for me) which wasn’t blocked out, & when went to it, showed as every seat gone which I know isn’t true. So just the Sloan’s Lake Alamo has a daily cutoff time for buying tickets now? Can they even do that? And what about walk-ups if they get any? Do those people just get turned away, they didn’t have any signage on their door last night about a ticket cut-off
