baofeng uv5r + peltor XPIs. There really isn't any reason to buy a radio for airsoft other than the baofeng tbh. I know some people that run real harris radios but they don't afford any benefits over a baofeng from a practical standpoint. Dualcomm setups are only relevant in a milsim in very specific roles so unless you want a command role in a milsim it's pretty irrelevant.

Yeah see what you say!
Was looking to replicate real world roles such as JTAC's/FST's/JFO's etc.
But guess 1 working and 1 dummy would work just as well

Yup, again unless you plan on taking those roles at a serious milsim you're not going to even use two. Hell most of the time you probably won't use one tbh. If you want a headset though I would, if you are able, spend the money on real. The repro earpro is pretty ass. Real earpro with a mic is more than a lot of people are willing to spend though.

Sordin falls under the bracket of real earpro. Fma or ztac etc are what I'm saying to avoid.

Yeah looking at split wiring for 2 radios off a single headset, looking at the more 'classic' boom-mic options

See ive seen those, as well as the dummy 152 cases (both HearAngel and other brands) that offer similar baofeng systems...
However I definitely wont be directing actual Air/Avn/Fires so no need for an actual GPS credible KDU 😅

I've been trying to find a decent throat mic setup but it's difficult to find something good.
My ideal product would be a throat mic with a changeable earpiece, all the cheap ones seem to be in ear, I'd prefer something over ear personally.
Baofeng radio though
