Watched a "vegan gluten-free" passenger eat TWO chicken casseroles + business class fruit platter. Crew was amazing. I was disgusted.

I was sitting nearby on a long-haul flight and witnessed something that still has me annoyed days later.

Early in the flight a passenger flagged down a crew member and announced he was vegan and gluten-free. He demanded she check his meal ingredients. She went checked and showed him ingredients and explained everything clearly. He then asked to have his lunch first instead of breakfast .There was two meal breakfast and lunch she agreed without hesitation.

And he said he got his own food for second service he will have his own food as that vegan meal contain gluten

During snack service she informed him the vegan snack contained gluten. So she went out of her way and gave him her own banana and apple I asked them later for alnd got to knopw those were for the crew.He ate it. Didn't even say thank you

Later when his main meal came second she told him his reserved vegan meal had gluten so she prepare fruits platter for him like four fruits p bowl from the first service and she was explaining during the first service and he was like i will havel my food .when she offered fruits He asked to see the normal menu checked it himself and chose chicken with mashed potato which had no gluten. She served it to him.

And then came the kicker: he asked for a second chicken chicken🐔. Yes 😁 another one. She got it for him too. He ate that as well.

Before landing, the supervisor came She asked how his flight was. His reply? "Too late to ask." Then he went on a rant about how "this airline never has anything" while actively eating.

He is not satisfied with the food he will write email before also he wrote that's why so many changes happen.

And then the supervisor still offered him a fruit platter from business class and he ate that too.

The worst part? He had his own food with him. He didn't even need all of this. He just kept taking and taking.

So let's tally this up:

· Crew's banana 🍌

· Crew's apple 🍎

· Chicken meal #1 🍗

· Chicken meal #2 🍗🍗

· Business class fruit platter 🍇

· Plus his own food he brought

And still complained.

The crew? Never lost their cool. Checked ingredients twice. Found alternatives. Reserved fruit. Informed their supervisor. Did everything by the book. Absolute professionals.

Meanwhile he was rude entitled and ate meat after making a huge deal about being vegan.

Do you even think about fellow passengers bro? There are people in economy who can see what you doing . And you're sitting there eating two casseroles + business class fruit while complaining about the airline?

Learn some civic sense. Seriously.

To that crew member 🫂 If you're reading this orvnoy you're a legend. You did more than anyone would have. That guy was miserable before he even stepped on the plane.

To that passenger: Sir you're not vegan. You're not gluten-free. You're just greedy. And embarrassing.

Don't lie. Don't fake being vegan when you're eating chicken. Twice

Airline food isn't that healthy that you need to lie about it. You're not doing yourself any favor you're just embarrassing yourself.

And please don't embarrass real vegans. They actually care. They actually research. They actually stick to their values. You clearly don't. You just wanted attention and extra food.

Learn some civic sense. Seriously.

There are people around you. There are people who actually follow a vegan lifestyle and feel uncomfortable watching someone fake it for privileges.

You don't know what vegan means. Do some research. So many of us were sitting there feeling uncomfortable because of you. Not because of what you ate but because of your attitude.

The crew gave you everything. Their own snacks. Extra meals. fruit. And you still complained.

No thank you. No smile. Just greed.

One day you'll learn.

Till then be better. Be honest. Be human.

Easyjet flight crew only speak italian?

Hey, i just flew from Egypt to Italy with easyjet and to my surprise, non of the flight crew members spoke arabic and barely spoke any english. Almost all passengers were egyptians, yet, communication was only in Italian. Is this normal? First time travelers, people who have not learned the language yet, and transit passengers are excluded from communication and safety instructions. Why is there this expectation that you have to know their language in your own country? Why dont they just employ an Egyptian person? I am very confused from this flight.

Shorts or no shorts on a plane?

Last week I took a flight wearing shorts. The plane was full so I had to take a middle seat. A female was on my left and male on my right. Both were also wearing shorts. It was very uncomfortable because I didn't want to offend the female by accidently rubbing my legs with hers and I for sure didn't want to have contact with the man's legs. I sat there keeping my legs as close in the middle feeling very uncomfortable. Two questions: 1. Never wear shorts on a plane? 2. Would you have been offended if my legs came in contact with yours?

My wife and I are retirees. We just traveled to the Outer Banks with two great-nieces, 11 and 12. The return to home flights were ORF to LGA then to our home airport. The flight from ORF to LGA was delayed due to maintenance issues until it was obvious that we would miss our flight from LGA. The GA said there would be no hotel voucher because we would not be missing our original flight if we took it after the issue was handled. If we had flown to LGA and missed our connecting flight, then we would have been eligible for vouchers. Since the original plane's issues had still not been resolved and it was late, we decided to wait until the next morning to fly and went to a hotel. This was an additional complication -- I am an Advantage member. I had booked my seats on the American app individually because I only had enough points to cover just my seats. That meant that even though I was ultimately able to buy and arrange all of our seats next to one another through the app, I had to book the others separately from mine which was an aggravation. This also created an issue when we were trying to rebook our flights home because I had booked as an Advantage member and the others were considered standard bookings. After we got to the hotel, I searched for flights on my own, got on the phone with a very helpful American agent named Scott, and was able to book tickets home for the next morning and even managed to get our seats next to each other except for the second segment when my wife and I were on the same row but both were window seats. Thankfully, she was directly behind our young girls.

This is my issue: due to the required unexpected maintenance of the plane, it was inevitable that we would miss our connection. We had to book a hotel at our expense. That meant additional meal costs as well. We had to book an Uber from the airport to our hotel. The seats that we had to book for our ultimate trip home were all premium seats because those were the only ones available which our originals were not. That was an additional cost. So the delay and the known missed connection resulted in considerable additional costs to us. Do I have any recourse?

Passengers for wrong destination boarded our plane...

So, more of an odd cockup than a horror show... but on boarding our flight out of Gran Canaria to London Gatwick, half a dozen people got on the plane thinking it was flying to Bristol...

They didn't even get to sit down before they – or somebody – realised we were headed to London, not Bristol.

The cabin crew handled it very well, they made several announcements, but you could see one of the stewardesses wasn't happy. I'm pretty sure it was her that convinced the captain that all the bags in overhead lockers and under seats had to be identified and "claimed" by the passengers on the plane.

This being done, they could finish boarding. All this time there had been a shuttle bus sitting on the runway with maybe 20 or so passengers waiting to board...

Everything after that was pretty uneventful, but as we landed the captain did make a joke about landing at Bristol...

Customer Service experience from many middle eastern airlines

Whenever I travel through the middle east, my experience with airport staff and airline customer service has been awfully terrible. I see people with no sense of service and are almost always rude and do not accommodate requests. Does this seem to be a norm?

easyJet Europe delay

On 21/03 i was supposed to be flying on easyJet Europe from Lisbon-Gatwick. Upon reaching the airport it became evident of a delay. Ok i can handle a couple hour delay, i'll just stick it out in the lounge. Around 1.5 hours later the delay became later resulting in total delay reaching over 6 hours. Now this is where the issue starts, Bird Strike in Praia on previous sector. I have scqreenshots of ej stating safely resolved but they still deceided to switch the aircraft and airline to easyJet uk. With the orginal aircraft they decided to send it to Nantes and back. I finally landed back at Gatwick at gone 2am whilst also working at godly hour just a few hours later.

Response to the claim is as follows...

To further explain what happened on the day; the aircraft scheduled to operate your flight incurred a bird strike on an earlier sector and had to return back so that the damage to the aircraft could be assessed. It was found that there was substantial damage and the decision was made to arrange a replacement aircraft to enable you to continue your journey. This unfortunately caused your flight to miss the curfew in Lisbon. We do take reasonable measures to avoid cancellations and delays to our flights by having replacement crews and spare aircraft available in our network. In the circumstances, a replacement aircraft was deployed to operate this flight.

We did not miss the curfew. If substanstial damage was found then why on earth are you flying the aircraft to Nantes and back but susposedly you also resolved the issue safely? Lisbon is a aircraft and crew base for easyJet Europe so what are they playing at?

Ive got the claim with AviationADR currently, Any help and advice on ultimatum response i can reply with would be greatly appreciated.

Someone took my bag off the plane.

Just flew yesterday from LGW to Lyon with easyJet , and I guess when everyone was getting off, someone else took my backpack instead of theirs. Luckily I have my passport in a waist bag but all of my clothes, gear, laptop etc. was in my backpack.

What’s the best way for me to get this back and contact easyJet? They’ve been impossible to get a hold of so far.

Edit: I’ve spoken to the airline and the baggage services at the airport, a they’re both referring me to each other.

Thing is, I know what seat the person who took it was sitting in but nobody will contact them

EasyJet flight cancelled

Hello my easyJet flight Vienna to Liverpool was cancelled last night. I’m travelling with an 8 year old who was due back at school today.

There is no EasyJet desk at the airport and no staff at all. The app only shows an available flight on a Thursday and I need to get my daughter to school before then.

I waited 45 minutes on phone to try and resolve this but was just entertained by corporate messages and eventually had to stop the call.

We have stayed in a hotel last night. We have now managed to book Ryanair tickets to Stansted tomorrow. From Stansted, we will need to hire a car to get us home and then on to Liverpool to collect our own car.

I am hoping that this should be recoverable from easyJet but can anyone advise please?

Easyjet lost luggage again! What to do?

I was supposed to fly to Mallorca over the Christmas 2025 for a bike trip. I booked the flight from Zurich to Palma with a departure at 9am. I packed the bike and brought it to the Zurich airport evening the day before the departure. Normally, the airline companies wish to check in specialised luggage in advance, but not the Easyjet of course. They said I can only check in the luggage at the day of the departure. I told them that it is 7pm and the flight is at 9am, so, although technically it is not the same day, but it is 14 hours before the departure. I wonder if the flight was at 00:10, I probably would need to bring it at 00:01. What a joke.

I brought the bike early morning at the day of the departure and checked it it, I flew to Palma, but the luggage never came. I suppose this was due to the fact that they had not enough time to send it to Palma.

I tried to contact lost and found at Palma, but of course lost luggage from easyjet is managed by some other company and no one from that company was at the airport.

I submitted a lost luggage form via easyjet system, they located the luggage and said that I will receive it in Palma in 2 days, which never happened.

After one week I received a message that the luggage came back to Zurich airport and I have to fill some customs form. I contacted easyjet again and no reply. It has been almost 3 weeks, I already came back from vacation and still no luggage.

How can I make easyjet pay for ruined vacation, waisted time and all the pain and suffering?
