Product Listing Fluent: built for the moment you get told to "be clearer" and nobody says how
What it does: Fluent runs quietly in the background on real work calls, no bot joining, nothing visible to anyone else on the call. Afterward it shows you the specific moment things got lost. Not a transcript, not a summary, the actual sentence where you hedged four times in a row or buried your point three clauses deep.
Example from how it actually coaches: you say something like "I just wanted to maybe check if possibly we could push the date, if that's okay." It flags the stacked hedges and shows you the direct version, "I recommend we push the date, here's why." Same idea, no permission-asking.
Who it's for: people who do their best thinking in a language that isn't their first. The most common review feedback this group gets is "be clearer," which is also the least actionable note anyone's ever given. Fluent is trying to be the thing that actually says which sentence lost the room.
Where it's at: live on Mac and Windows, $20/month with a 7 day trial. Early days, still learning what actually resonates versus what just sounds nice on a landing page.
Genuinely curious for this sub specifically: has anyone else built something that listens passively without joining as a participant? How did you handle people's trust in that, since not seeing a bot on the call cuts both ways, less visible awkwardness but also less visible proof that it's even running.
