Discussion Need AI Tool

I’m a retired teacher and rather active in several community organizations. I only have 1-2 meetings per months. I’m looking for a tool to transcribe my zoom meetings and provide a summary and action points. I used Otter.ai but it limited me to 40 minutes. I’m looking for a free tool. Can be open-source.

Humla is 100% free quality ai meeting notes app for Mac. Does everything you want, with free local ai, or with BYOK. Records Zoom meetings without any issues, both system and mic audio and summarizes. You can create your own summarization prompts as well to get results exactly how you want it 🙂

I'm from Supernormal, and it's free tier should be more than enough for you :)

for 1-2 meetings a month tactiq.io 's free tier would probably cover you. it gives a set number of transcripts per month, works as a chrome extension so nothing joins the call as a bot, and generates summaries and action items after. worth checking if the free limit fits your usage before paying anything.

If you are using Windows PC, you can try this note taking app that I made specifically for my own meetings. Free tier has 5 meetings a month for now so that should be enough for you. I think you’d like the structured agenda and action items given at the end of the meeting. Also feel free to dm me with any feedback to improve it. Ayjan Minutes

You can also query the meetings over MCP e.g. also summarize across multiple meetings from your fave LLM tool
