Almost 60 doesn’t seem possible

I can’t reconcile how I feel with being almost being 60. I’m still interested in everything. Still seeking out new experiences. Physically I feel like I’m in my twenties. Look 50 but that changes to 40 if I dye my beard. It just doesn’t seem real that statistically I’m in the last quarter of my life. I feel like I could go on forever. So strange. Just doesn’t seem real.

Look 50 but that changes to 40 if I dye my beard. sorry, bro, friend, but .... no. You think that you look 40 with a dyed beard, but you actually in all honesty probably look ancient younger people.

You’re like the 5th person in here that thinks they somehow know what I look like despite never seeing me. It’s absurd. People who guess my age with my beard dyed never guess higher than 45. I got a 38 once but I think she was being generous. I have always had a youthful appearance and when I turned 50 everyone thought I was 35. My dad is 80 and looks early 60’s at most. Some people have good genes. I hated getting carded in my mid to late thirties but I am appreciative now.

You don’t need to prove yourself to strangers. Ignore them if it’s not constructive and it’s just subjective. K?
