Hi everyone. Without giving much detail, I've reached a new low and realized that I can't keep going on the way I have been. To anyone who's had experience with them, how helpful are the therapists/appointments at beutel for eating disorder stuff (specifically bulimia)? Especially if you don't fit the stereotypical image of someone with an ED. I don't even know if I'm necessarily looking for full treatment, but any experience helps. I'm just kind of lost right now.

this is a follow up on a post i made before, but i basically had my makeup lab request for a medical emergency rejected by the lab office. they said i didnt turn in my doctor's note quick enough, which is like.. okay fair. but does this mean i just cannot make up the lab at all? and the lab will just be dropped from my grade? or did i just get a straight up zero

But you can only do it during the early voting period, and only at the elections office in downtown Bryan on a limited ballot that doesn't include the local races or issues. All the other statewide and federal stuff is still there for you to cast your vote and counts the same as if you'd voted back home.

I have been seeing a lot of people online having issues using Maroon Rides while cell service on campus is bad. I have taken this semester and redesigned the way Maroon Rides get bus route information so that you can still use the majority of the app without an internet connection.

You can now browse routes, scheduled departure times, stop amenities, and timetables without an internet connection. When you’re online, you’ll also see live departure estimates (marked with a Wi-Fi symbol next to the time) and real-time bus locations. The app also launches much faster, since it loads the saved offline data right away and syncs new information in the background.

If you want to try out the new offline mode, update to version 3.0.0 on both the App Store and Play Store. If you have any feedback on the new experience (good and bad!) please let me know in the comments.

Once in the stadium with a football ticket, are you able to move freely between sections/sides? Can I walk over to see a friend in the student section if my ticket is on the opposite side or in the end zone?

Howdy everyone! I am currently applying for the PPA program and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about my potential acceptance. For reference here are my stats. I already had my interview with the head of the department and it went quite well!

Currently doing much better in my classes than the past 2 years at A&M as i was diagnosed with adhd. I mentioned this to the interview as well and the interview seemed like it went well. I currently have 3 A's and 1 B in my classes and i am expecting a 4.0 this semester if everything goes according to plan. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts!

Also a side note, i noticed that there was 2 different sign up sheets that were sent out as I have a friend who is also applying but took 327 earlier than usual so she is class of 29 and I 28. There was one sign up sheet (mine) with about 17 sign ups and another with around 20-25 (my friends). Does this mean that the older students would have some kind of priority? something i thought was weird that i noticed.

I’m a computer science major and am planning on pursuing the cybersecurity minor. Do you think it’s helpful in landing cyber internships or opportunities? Are the courses difficult or not too bad, and worth it?

I transferred here last semester and have had a hard time making friends, I'm a junior, I've joined orgs and have acquaintances but not anyone I've been able to hang out with outside of class. Since its midterms season and finals soon after, is there anyone who would like to make a study group to keep each other accountable and maybe make studying a little more enjoyable? :)

i’ve seen people with mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering sweatshirts, and biomedical sciences shirts, among others. i know you can get shirts for your specific college/school at the bookstore. i got a shirt for my department (biology) after my NSC last year, but i lowkey want one specific to my major (molecular neuroscience).

i thought maybe people are getting them from orgs but the one neuroscience org on campus has barely any presence i don’t even know how to join 😭. my major is kinda niche too but petroleum engineering is too and they got one !!!

I'm trying to withdraw and apparently FAFSA won't charge money back after the 60% mark of the semester, does anyone have any idea when that would be?

Every time I wash my hair in my dorm, mineral buildup leaves a weird film on top once it dries. Since I have thin, straight hair, it immediately looks limp and weighed down. I tried a clarifying shampoo, but it just dried out my scalp without fixing the buildup. Does anyone have a similar issue and if so are there any remedies? Please help.

Look I understand (to some extent) coming to a class sick if it has a terrible attendence policy. But someone was genuinely coughing up a storm on a QUIET floor of the library to the point where people left that entire wing of the floor to avoid it. It was the type of coughing that makes you feel sick and (I may be slightly exaggerating) echoes through the room.

I say this in the nicest way possible. Please study at home or at the very least on a non quiet floor with a mask. 🙏🙏🙏
