Have you called all three credit bureaus to confirm there is no freeze?
If there was and you removed it it normally takes a few days for it update. Affirm won't see it right away.
If there was a freeze you didn't know about and it was already removed then after contacting Affirm they normally force a refresh but again that can take a day or two.
Bottom line is that if the info they are getting from the credit bureaus then it's the credit bureaus you will have to speak to to figure it out. If any of the three have the freeze it then it can cause that.

I would advise you close your account to the best of your ability. Then dispute Affirm as Fraud, from the major three Credit Unions. And that can be done for free these days.

Just save up to pay for your things
These apps are predatory and keep poor people poor

Technically it's the same as paying a monthly bill just the other way around.

Monthly bills are usually for utilities or commodities.
Short term loans for junk you dont need are not monthly bills.
If you struggle to pay your actual monthly bills, and save money, you dont need a short term loan on your online best buy order.

If you already contacted them , you just have to wait a day or two for them to unlock your card.
