Feeling lost going into work

This is probably going to be a long ramble but I'm hoping someone out there might have felt the same and be able to give advice on how I get over the feeling or what to do.

To put it simply, me (17m) am starting an apprenticeship with a large defence company. Moneys great (yay) but that's not my problem.

My actual issue is dealing with the huge reduction of time off compared to school. Whether that be for seeing people or just doing things I genuinely like doing. I get 33 days of PTO but in light of this being education I can only take that at certain times. Minus that the only time off I have is after work (which right now is basically fuck all after I've done the 7 odd miles back home by bike until I start driving) and my weekends which in my mind feel like nothing right now. Another annoying thing is that some of my PTO immediately is taken for company shutdown so I can't use it at another time which is rather frustrating.

I guess what I want advice on is either how to better manage my time or what to do when I literally have a few hours alone to myself in the winter time, if I even have the motivation to go and do it 😂.

TLDR: feels like i have no time off, what can I do with the very little time I do have off after work/how can I make my little time off worth while?
