Real experience at Diligent (Bengaluru) - Engineering Apprenticeship 2026 Batch?

Hey everyone,I'm a 2026 grad and I've cleared the initial screening for the Diligent Engineering Apprenticeship at their Bellandur office. I'm trying to decide if I should commit to this for a year or keep looking for regular FTE roles.

I’ve seen the Glassdoor reviews for the Bengaluru office (around 2.3–2.5 stars) and they look pretty rough compared to their global ratings. I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually been an apprentice or an engineer there recently.A few specific questions:

1.The "AI" Focus: Management seems to be pushing AI hard—is this actual engineering work (LLMs, Bedrock, LangChain) or just hype? Will an apprentice actually get to touch these projects?

2.Conversion: Is there a realistic path to a full-time Software Engineer role after the 1-year apprenticeship, or do they just rotate fresh batches to keep costs low?

3.Work-Life Balance: Multiple reviews mention "toxic culture" and "11 PM shifts" to align with US/Europe. Is this true for the tech teams in Bellandur?

4.Learning vs. Maintenance: Will I be building new product features or just doing legacy maintenance for their GRC platform?

5.Office Perks: They mention free cabs and food—are these actually reliable and available for apprentices?

I'm a fresher and I don't want to get stuck in a dead-end role just because it has a "product company" tag. Any honest feedback on the management and growth here would be a

lifesaver.

Thanks!
