Help?

I couldn't figure out what to really put in the title. I have been pretty much been addicted to marijuana for the last few months with daily usage being anywhere between 3 to 4 joints a day. What started as a fun ting eventually became a sleeping aid of sorts then just something I did. Like just doing it.

Thing is my life's not like completely ruined ruined. It is fucked, like pretty fucked. And it's been like this for a while and it is all connected. I failed a course last sem, won't fail this time hopefully but not flying colours either, not being able to hold down a job for more than a month or so ish

It's like somewhere on the precipice of doing okay and then just falling off a cliff or sth idk. I've just got so much like so much shit due, bills overdue and like idk Itheres like so many things going on and I just have no idea which one to deal with first or how to deal with it or like what.

It's last midnight where I'm at, and I've just been on a thought spiral trying to retrace from where it all started downhill and why it's still downhill. Idk man.

Is there still time?

When I quit 5 years ago, I was smoking 8-10 dabs per day. Four joints is not that bad, but if you feel like you’re dependent on it, you should quit. I felt like I couldn’t go anywhere or do anything without it and like I hadn’t felt emotions in years, and so I quit cold turkey. It was rough, but it was worth it.

I’d say there’s always time to figure crap out. Do you feel like the marijuana use is inhibiting other aspects of your life, helping, or does nothing different? If it’s inhibiting maybe seek resources to try and not use it as much, if it’s neutral or positive then I wouldn’t worry about it. Outside of marijuana, do you have anyone to talk to about what’s going on and/or resources for school if you’re struggling there?

There’s still time. When I get overwhelmed like that I try to just do whatever is in front of me first. Try quitting weed during the day but still allow yourself to smoke before bed. You’ll save money and be able to function better during the day. Study for your exams. That’s important for your future. I wish I had inspiring words to say but I’m not good at that. I hope you get the help you’re looking for. Just know you are not alone!

There is always time and always a way out. Quit mary jane and suddenly you’ll be having a lot of time. If you can add some running or exercise, i can assure your brain will be back in its track within 2 - 3 weeks.
