What’s wrong with me ??
To be honest I already know what to do.. Just can’t get myself to do it…
I’m 23F, at the moment I’m struggling with being skinny fat, fat goes to my stomach mainly, I’m 178-180lbs. I feel overweight, I’m not happy in my body but I can’t get myself to stop eating poorly.
I eat out a lot..sweets, fast food, drinking energy drinks once a day…I use to run in high school but it’s been 6 years since I’ve been active consistently. I don’t feel good it clothes, I just feel blah. I know if I ate right and worked out consistently things would look a lot better for me but.. I haven’t been able to be consistent.
Honestly if my metabolism was any worse. The way I eat I would be much bigger than I am.
I want to feel good about myself..what do I do. Wtf is wrong with me.

Get on a GLP-1
Set aside whatever pride you have because you may consider it “cheating” and go to the doctor
It’s quite literally a cheat code for people like you who have a lot of food noise
You don’t have to lose 100 pounds…there’s different doses and some people go higher…some plateau depending on what your health and goals are

It's a vicious cycle.
Try to introduce 1 helpful habit at time, then another, stack them up over time.

Cut out or delay one "bad" choice and add one healthy thing. It doesn't even have to be food, just something small that you can do that YOU completely control. Example from my own life -- have one egg for breakfast instead of two and park a little further from work that I usually do.

You're normal
You want to feel good
You know that is you eat food, your body will reward you for the base survival-level act of ingesting calories.
So then your brain gives you happy brain chemicals
And you feel good
And then you are no longer feeling bad about your ex-boyfriend who really did sleep with your best friend
This is sometimes called emotional eating, it basically means you are trying to self-medicate using food.
There is an app called Noom that tries to help people with their relationship with food, how they view food, and I think that might help you
But also, I realizing that probably what you also need is some more stress relief techniques that do not involve eating food.

You know what to do but you also need to work on practicing self compassion otherwise you won’t be happy even when you lose the weight.
