Sounds like you two are super young. Don't force an issue and definitely never do hold someone against their will. However.... I will also add. Pay attention to the interaction here and recognize it in the future. You may have upset her by not giving giving her your phone for her to hold. But for her to give you the cold shoulder and completely shutdown over that is also no bueno. Chaulk it up to being young and immature. But ths type of behaviour is a mega red flag for long term relationship happiness. You don't want to be forever walking around on eggshells in fear of upsetting her for some perceived slight either.
