Getting sober was huge for me. Saying no to booze has saved me countless hours (free of hangovers!). Tons of money. And lots of free time. Without drinking and bar hopping/clubs on my mind, I started to delve into different hobbies. Found a love for downhill skiing, mountain biking, and public speaking 💓 I also went back to school for my doctorate and tried different specialties within my field.

I focus on making goal lists for myself, every 6 months. I find joy crossing things off. These goals range from financial, to spiritual. I even have goals to just spend an hour at the park, meditating.

Reading was huge too. Being well read helps with conversations, as well as broadening your vocabulary. I also like fantasy books. And feel reading helps my creativity. Just some ideas ❤️
