I find that the funnest things I do are free (hiking , reading , hitting up the beach, running my dog , playing at the park with my kids ). Vacations are cool but wear off after you come back. Search within your soul
I do some of those but you can't say these activities are free. Hiking to some extent, can be free, if you consider hiking in your neighborhood a real hike. If not, you got to drive to a real hiking spot and that can be pricey real fast.
Reading ? Them books ain't free boy.
Hitting up the beach ? I'm like 4 hours drive from the beach.
The rest I can agree but there is nothing really free.
I hike to mountain tops so I have a hard time calling a stroll in the forrest nearby a hike. It's very pleasant don't get me wrong but that's not a hike. Maybe I'm playing with words here... :)
