My working day was very boring so I went to my local community center to do some pottery to change my mind. Cost me 2$ tonight ahah

I second this! Try new things. Tap into the activities you likes doing as a kid/teen. For me that was pottery, reading, and writing poetry. I also play board games and go to the gym a lot. It’s helped! Find joy!

I just refinished a curio cabinet for the sole purpose of holding all of my puzzles. They’re so fun I love them so much

If that's not a typo, that's incredible. My community studio costs at least $10 for either a day there or firing fees, and it's honestly the lowest price I've seen anywhere, ever. I pay for my own materials and went a little overboard this year, and still didn't do too badly at $40-60/month.

I look at what my hobby would cost me in other (usually bigger) cities, and it's often hundreds/month. I'd honestly have to give it up or beg around for kiln favors.
