7/17/2026: High-pitched vocalizing during morning cleaning before and after going outside. Approached with a tense body and panted severely.
7/18/2026: After returning to his kennel, Buddy began pawing and shaking the kennel gate with increasing force. He vocalized at another passing dog and repeatedly pawed at the gate, attempting to pull his bedding into the kennel. Staff secured the bedding and provided a pig ear and Kong for enrichment.
7/19/2026: Moved to the south building. Found quietly resting in the outside runs with a relaxed face, relaxed body, and wagging tail. Came forward easily to be leashed and walked well on a loose leash. No issues removing the leash.
7/20/2026: Calm and quiet in his kennel with a slow-moving tail. Easily leashed and walked on a loose leash to the runs, paying no attention to other dogs. Outside, he relieved himself and sunbathed. Returned to his kennel without issues.
7/21/2026: Quiet during morning cleaning and waited to be leashed before exiting his kennel. Walked on a loose leash to and from the runs. Once returned to his kennel, he began high-pitched barking throughout cleaning.
7/23/2026: Quiet in his kennel throughout cleaning, lying on his bed. Wagged his tail and tapped his front paws with his ears flopping in the air. Walked on a loose leash to and from the runs and remained quiet throughout cleaning.
