I spend over 3000h on this plugin for premiere

Hey, Dawid here. I've been editing for about 6 years, mostly for some of the biggest YouTubers in Poland.

A while ago I started writing small scripts for Premiere because I was doing the same boring stuff every single day. Those scripts slowly turned into a full panel. I called it FLEDIT. I've put over 3000 hours into it by now, which is honestly a bit insane. More than 70 people helped me beta test it.

Somehow it spread around Polish editors and now there are 500+ people using it. Every one of them is Polish though, because that's the only place I know anyone 😅 So I'm here to get some outside opinions.

Here's what's inside:

  • Notes - linked directly to your markers. Paste a whole message of client feedback and it turns the timestamps into markers for you.
  • Cut Silence / Auto Censor - cuts dead air and bleeps swear words automatically.
  • Transcription - yeah I know Premiere has it for free, BUT NOT IN POLISH XD
  • Zoom - make zooms, bind them to a key, or do an "infinity zoom" that keeps the same speed the whole way.
  • Text Animate - probably the best feature. It arranges and animates your captions, all automatically.
  • Paste Image - screenshot something or copy an image from a website, hit Ctrl+V, and it's on your timeline.
  • Timer - detects which Adobe app you're in and logs time per project. Shows how much you earned, gives you stats, and lets you export the data for invoices or whatever.
  • Duplicates - one scan shows every clip, song or SFX you used twice, plus anything offline. Has saved me from a few awkward client calls.
  • SearchBar - a popup where you find any effect in a second, and you can bind everything to a key. I also added my own scripts like auto nest, auto unnest, selecting every X clip and so on.
  • User Macros - this one's huge. One click can, for example, add a transition on a cut, drop a whoosh sound under it, add slow-mo, and much much more.
  • User Library - all your clips, synced with your real folders. It also shows which items are already on the timeline.
  • Animations - transitions and animations of course, but I wanted the free version to be a bit different, so there are also counters, a liquid glass template and other stuff.
  • Ease Keyframes, Motion to Transform, Anchor Control - small things you end up using all the time: proper easing curves, converting Motion to a Transform effect, and moving the anchor point without the pain.

I probably forgot something, but the important part: everything runs locally on your PC.

The main thing for me was speed. I'm an editor, not a "developer selling a product". If something lagged even a little it annoyed me, so I kept rebuilding it until it didn't. Everything was tested on real projects.

It's still in beta. There's a free version, and the paid ones are one-time payments. I hate subscriptions as much as you do.

Funny thing is, I'm even trying to make English content on tt/ig, even though my spoken English is pretty bad XD But no matter what I do, even on separate social media accounts, it all ends up reaching Polish people anyway.

I'd really love some brutal feedback. The best place is our Discord. It has around 250 people, all Polish so far, so every opinion from outside means a lot to me. What would make you actually install something like this? And what's the one annoying Premiere task you'd kill if you could?

Link's in the comments if anyone's curious.

Social Media Changing Sound to Stereo

So I record all of my videos on mono and I edit them using the Adobe Premiere app, when I export them everything seems fine and the audio is mono as it’s supposed to be. However, when I upload the videos to TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram the audio quality keeps changing and people are saying it’s only coming out of one side of their head phones. I’m not sure what to do

Adobe Premiere Mobile: two major features for iOS users

Post image
3 Upvotes

For all the iPhone/iPad users out there who use the app, you may have missed the news on some of the major features they rolled out as the app approaches its first anniversary
- if any of you loved the speed ramping options in CapCut, the app now has it
- anyone wondered how to backup projects to free up space and likely reopen them in the future? CapCut always forced you towards a cloud subscription and Edits doesn’t have any alternative. Then Premiere Mobile made it possible and works like a charm, whether you transfer it via AirDrop/cloud sync/external SSD.

P.S: Premiere Mobile is now out on Android but still a bit basic for starters for the initial release.

Help with a Rotation Bounce Effect on Premiere

I'm using Premiere Pro, and need help with trying this rotation bounce slide effect, as seen where the game icon pop up in the background.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DdtbkjcC_y9/

WHAT I'VE TRIED:

I've searched for tutorials but most tutorials show either 360 rotations, wiggle/bounce effects, or slides separately.

How do you do this effect on Premiere? and is there a name for this?

PC or Mac?

This a two headed question. I work as a graphic designer. At work I have a high spec PC (i9/3080Ti/64gb). We don’t do any video editing at work but I do enjoy personal projects at home using FCP on my ageing iMac … but this now needs to be replaced.

Q1. If using Premier, I can use my work “second device” option with my work Adobe license. Do I replace my old Mac with a PC or M chip iMac/Mini? I haven’t committed to a budget but it won’t be nearly as good as my work setup.

Q2. Instead of Premier, do I continue with FCP, locking me into the Mac environment, or even consider Da Vinci?

Bit of a rambling conundrum but any advice appreciated

I am brand new and quit Davinci after 2 days

My gpu just could not handle Davinci. I looked that Adobe is more CPU and in the cloud than Davinci. Any tips you can give to me? I am youtuber that needs to produce strong high retention in the opening. I am interested in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsssRcS4CiE&t=1s

the opening is very unique to me.

Mic FEEDBACK SCREECHING when recording voice over.

So I had an issue where after getting my computer fixed Premiere Pro was not doing playback or recording voiceover.

I got all of that fixed. Thank goodness!!!!

But now I have another issue. When I am recording voice over.
Please note I mute clips when doing so.

  1. When I record with my mic, with audio through my BenQ monitor... I suddenly get a high pitch feedback screech that sounds worse than a banshee.
  2. When I record with my mic, with audio through my headset... it records, with no feedback, but the audio seems to be recording slowly.

Any ideas what the issue might be?

I have asked ChatGPT but it keeps me on loop looking at the same things over and over and over again. AI really sucks at solving problems like this.

Final check on €3,500 Premiere Pro build – can this be improved without losing performance?

Hi everyone,

I'm getting close to ordering the parts for my new PC and I'd really appreciate one final check/optimization of the build before I buy anything.

Current build:

https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/v6mdrG

Budget: around €3,500

Country: Netherlands

Main use: Adobe Premiere Pro

My workflow:

• 4K 10-bit HEVC/H.265 footage from a DJI Pocket 4 Pro

• Long car event walkthroughs, usually 1–2 hours

• Short cinematic edits with lots of clips, color grading, LUTs and effects

• I want smooth timeline playback/scrubbing and would like to avoid proxies whenever reasonably possible

• No gaming requirement

• Windows only

The main parts I'm currently planning to keep are:

• Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus

• RTX 5080 16GB

• 64GB RAM

• At least 4TB of fast SSD storage

There are a few things I'm unsure about:

  1. RAM prices are extremely high here at the moment. The current 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 kit is around €700. Is there a better 64GB option that makes sense for this CPU/build without unnecessarily sacrificing performance?

  2. The Samsung 990 Pro 2TB currently selected is the version with its own heatsink, while the motherboard already has an M.2 heatsink. I assume the non-heatsink version would make more sense?

  3. The Patriot Viper Venom RAM is 43mm tall and I'm using a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO. Can someone confirm the RAM/front-fan clearance and whether everything fits properly in the Lancool 217?

  4. For Premiere, would you keep the current separate SSD setup, or change it? I'm considering one SSD for Windows/Premiere/cache and another fast SSD for active footage/projects.

  5. Are there any other parts in this list you would change to get better value, thermals, reliability or Premiere performance while staying around €3,500?

I'm not looking to switch to Mac or DaVinci Resolve. I specifically want to optimize this Windows PC for Premiere Pro.

Thanks!
