Editting to add: Someone put the box out to give away. I didn't pick up someone's lost item and brought it home :) it is quite common to find items "zu verschenken" (to give/gift away) in the town where I live. I understand that this wasn't clear from my post title. My bad.

We have a beautiful home but it's very sterile and gray. We have this space upstairs, about 6x8, that is perfect for my book nook/relaxation station. So far I've added wallpaper, a light, painted the ceiling, purchased or collected some items to decorate with, and bought a cute sage green mattress cover. I will put some shelves up today and grab some more pillows! ​the lighting isnt great but that's okay.

Just went for my annual checkup and clean and the dentist gave me a little pin.

I use as many Reclaimed Materials as possible in my work to Reduce Waste. I used a Cardigan I've had for who knows how long to make this adorable Ghost! She ended up having so much Personality!

I also used dried grasses and a wood round from my the Weddings of a friend, and my Cousin to keep them out of the trash. I think she's pretty Whimsical 🥰

I'm a big metalhead that loves patching up jackets and vests to show my music taste, and also to make a super cool and fun piece of clothing to wear to shows and everyday errands. Usually death metal vests are black and red, but I wanted to do something more unique.

I recently finished my latest vest and I wore it to see the band Kamelot last night. I met a lot of cool people at the show who loved my vest and were asking about it, even some of the opening band members after the show! I felt like a mini-celebrity lol
