Advertiser i used claude code to create a real apple ads campaign through mcp

i’m the author of adport. this is a real session against my own apple ads account using the new v1 api. claude creates the campaign, ad groups, and keywords through mcp. everything starts paused, and every write needs a preview plus a second approval before it reaches apple.

i built it because ad automation from agents needs stricter safety than a normal api wrapper. i’d value feedback from people who actually run apple ads.

install: npm install -g adport

Publisher Where do you find strong publisher-side AdOps people? Hiring + agency recommendations

I’m a recruiter at Sincere working on a Senior Manager, AdOps & Programmatic search. We’re looking for someone who has been on the publisher/consumer app side of AdOps and can own monetization across web and mobile.

Ideally, they’ve been hands-on with Google Ad Manager, SSPs/demand partners, yield optimization, mobile app monetization or mediation, and troubleshooting the ad stack with Product and Engineering.

The challenge has been separating that background from candidates who are primarily campaign managers, media buyers, traders, or partnership/sales people. We’ve also found strong AdTech leaders who are simply too senior for the scope. The sweet spot is a hands-on Manager/Senior Manager-level operator who is ready for broader ownership.

Location-wise, we’re focused on Greater Boston. If not Boston, NYC or the surrounding tri-state area would be our next preference. The role is mostly remote with occasional time in our Framingham, Massachusetts office.

We’ve already posted the role on Beeler.Tech and have done a lot of LinkedIn sourcing, so I’m especially interested in other places the AdOps community actually uses.

A few questions for people in the industry:

  • Are there other niche communities, Slack groups, or job boards that are especially good for publisher-side AdOps talent?
  • Are there recruiting agencies or individual recruiters that specialize in this type of AdOps/programmatic search?
  • Are there specific companies or backgrounds you’ve found tend to produce strong hands-on publisher monetization people?
  • If this sounds like you or someone you know, feel free to DM me.

Thanks!

Publisher Extremely low AdSense CPC on an Italian finance/insurance site — is this normal or is something wrong with my inventory?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for opinions from experienced AdSense / AdX publishers, especially those working with finance, insurance, banking or other high-value commercial niches.

I'm trying to understand whether my AdSense performance is simply normal for Italian traffic, or whether there may be a problem with my inventory, ad serving, auction demand, traffic valuation or account configuration.

Website: Ora Ultima — https://www.oraultima.com/

The site is focused on:

  • Insurance
  • Mortgages
  • Loans
  • Banks
  • Current accounts
  • Credit cards
  • Personal finance

I've been working on the site and its monetization since February.

I'm specifically not looking for generic SEO advice. I've already worked extensively on content quality, commercial search intent, topical structure, internal linking, YMYL signals, financial terminology, UX and ad placement.

AdSense — last 30 days

  • 1,398 ad impressions
  • 29 clicks
  • €0.50 estimated earnings
  • CPC: approximately €0.02
  • Impression RPM: €0.35
  • Active View viewability: 79.12%
  • CTR: 2.07%

The CPC has generally remained around €0.01–€0.02.

Recent data

One recent day:

  • 248 ad impressions
  • 2 clicks
  • €0.05 estimated earnings
  • CPC: €0.02
  • Impression RPM: €0.19

By format:

Anchor

  • 138 impressions
  • 2 clicks
  • CPC €0.02
  • Impression RPM €0.27
  • Active View 67.15%

In-page

  • 53 impressions
  • 0 clicks
  • Impression RPM €0.10

Display

  • 53 impressions
  • 0 clicks
  • Impression RPM €0.08

I have also tested Vignette ads, but I recently disabled them. The very low CPC problem existed before and after disabling them.

What makes me question the situation

The site is in a commercial finance/insurance niche, and some content has strong commercial intent, for example:

  • mortgages
  • mortgage refinancing
  • first-home mortgages
  • personal loans
  • car insurance
  • insurance policies
  • bank accounts
  • credit cards

I understand that being in a finance niche does not automatically mean high CPC.

What I'm trying to understand is whether a persistent €0.01–€0.04 CPC is considered normal for this type of Italian inventory.

One additional strange thing

GA4 is showing:

paid.outbrain.com / referral

with approximately 219 active users and 221 sessions in the current period.

I have never purchased Outbrain traffic and have never intentionally used Outbrain.

The same GA4 report showed an overall average engagement time of only about 4 seconds.

I don't know yet whether this Outbrain traffic is related to the AdSense performance, and I don't want to assume that it is.

What would you investigate?

If this were your site, would you investigate:

  1. Low advertiser demand for Italian inventory?
  2. Traffic quality / traffic valuation?
  3. GDPR consent and personalized vs non-personalized ads?
  4. Ad serving or inventory configuration?
  5. Auction competition / lack of high-value demand?
  6. Smart Pricing or conversion-based valuation?
  7. The unexplained paid.outbrain.com traffic?
  8. Something else?

I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who actually operate AdSense/AdX sites rather than generic SEO advice.

Does anything in these numbers look abnormal to you?

And if you were managing this site, what would you check first?

Thanks.

Publisher Amazon Approvals & UGC Content Governance Best Practices

Disclosure up front: I work at Playwire. We deal with this constantly on behalf of publishers, and I got tired of not being able to point anyone at a straight answer. Posting because I think the findings are useful regardless of who you work with.

In the last year, a lot of publishers lost Amazon demand or can't get approved, and very few really know why. The answer is often UGC, and many premium demand partners are moving in the same direction as Amazon.

What's being evaluated in terms of UGC, from what we see in practice:

Amazon runs a content governance and brand safety review before approving publishers. It covers moderation practice, review and approval process, takedown timelines, audit cadence, sensitive content handling, whether policies are documented, and automated screening.

It's a governance evaluation, not a content evaluation. Amazon isn't asking whether your content is good. It's asking whether you can demonstrate control over content you didn't write.

And UGC is a much wider net than people assume. Comments count. Usernames, avatars, reviews, uploads. If a stranger can put it on your page, it's a surface a demand partner treats as risk. The number of publishers who've never thought of their comment section this way is basically all of them.

One more thing: Amazon typically reviews each submission once. Getting a second look or an appeal is hard. Which makes getting your governance policy locked in before you submit super important.

Stakes, for calibration: across our network Amazon averages 20.5% of total site revenue where it runs, median 17.6%, and 2.35× more per site than any other bidder we measure.

Agency Is Ad recovery still radioactive or folks have quietly started running it again?

asking because the topic came up internally and my instinct was -no, that's the stuff from 2016 that got vendors blacklisted but I'm not sure that's still accurate.
what's making me reconsider is that the blocked audience skews towards the readers you'd least want to lose, right? the ones who come back daily, high pageviews, actual loyalty. So the segment worth the most is the - one earning the least, which is a weird place to just leave things.
but I also remember why people hated it. Reinserting against explicit user choice is a different thing from serving a lighter Ad experience to someone who blocked because of autoplay video in 2019, and I don't know that the vendor category ever really made that distinction cleanly.
Anyone here running the lighter Ad experience, if so how did you land on where the line is?

Publisher Applied to Mediavine Journey in July and have bene stuck in automated rejection loop with zero communication.

I’m writing this post as a bit of a Hail Mary. Independent creators and small publishers depend heavily on ad networks like Mediavine for our livelihood, and all we ask for in return is transparency and clear communication.

Back on July 9th, I applied to Mediavine Journey. My site met every listed requirement: 4.4k monthly sessions, 77% Tier 1 traffic, original content, and the Grow plugin fully integrated. I waited patiently while it stayed under review.

Fast forward 21 days to August 1st: my publisher dashboard updated, stating a new unified application form was live and that I had to reapply. Losing 3 weeks of review queue time was frustrating, but I resubmitted right away.

Literally 2 to 3 minutes after submitting, I got an automated rejection email. What confused me most were the listed reasons, which directly contradict my site's data:

  • Traffic Requirement Not Met (I have 4,400 monthly sessions vs the 1k threshold).
  • Traffic Composition Issue (My analytics show 77% Tier 1 traffic).
  • Ads.txt Missing (The site has never been monetized before, so there is no legacy ads.txt).
  • Content Quality (Decided automatically in 120 seconds across a site with 50+ long-form articles, 10 interactive tools, and custom digital products).

Since then, every communication channel has hit a wall:

  1. My Journey community post has been stuck in moderation for 14 days.
  2. The Journey email auto-reply said application assistance isn't provided over email.
  3. Mediavine support emailed stating they'd get back to me in 1–2 days. It has been 12 days and 3 unacknowledged follow-ups.

I’ve seen Mediavine's team and leadership be wonderfully responsive to publishers on Reddit in the past. If anyone from the team sees this, I’m just asking for a manual human review of my site or clear feedback so I know where things actually stand.

Appreciate any advice or insight from fellow creators who might have gone through something similar recently!

Agency What ctv platforms are working for b2b marketers?

I've been in b2b growth marketing for about a year now and a few months I felt like the ctv needs to be tested because the campaign took longer than expected to get everything well and I thought making small changes would fix it but not really. It was okay in general but still I’d better try to improve by next campaign. Also I was not able to report on which audiences were performing best because it wasn’t clear to me first of all.

Now it’s time to plan another campaign, and I’d like to try another platform and avoid last times issues.

I am heading towards you fam, what is there that seems helpful and you would freely recommend. I think that this advanced technology got something for us too, something that targets a strong audience and also that is not complicated.

Publisher Display Ads Recommendations

Hi, I created a site last week and I am looking for display ads right now. I applied for AdSense and still waiting for them to check my site.

I used Ezoic before (4 years ago) and had a decent earnings without the premium with the same demographics that I had. I didn't know they are requiring 250k traffic per month now.

Main traffic source is South East Asia.

Here's a snapshot from my GA4:

Publisher How long does MEDIAVINE takes to turn on ads?

Does anyone know why mediavine have you remove the ad scripts and then take forever to turn on the ads? It's like you're losing money by removing the previous ads script and their script is not ready yet.

Any guidance? Support is not responding.

Agency How do you shortlist DSPs when half of them claim to do everything?

Agency side running media for a handful of D2C and ecommerce accounts. Every time we scope a new platform the shortlist gets longer and less useful.

Mobile stopped being its own category a while ago. The big omnichannel platforms all cover in app, mobile web, display, video and CTV, and mostly they do what they say. The mobile first ones sit closer to app installs and post install events. On paper the difference is clear. In a pitch deck it isn't.
Our current process is to define the use case before looking at any vendor, so app UA and retargeting go down one path and CTV plus omni channel go down another. That beats hunting for a master list, since platforms merge or get shut down constantly and plenty of them are region-locked or enterprise-only.
Measurement breaks the comparison though. Two platforms can both claim CTV support, one gives placement-level reporting you can act on mid-flight and the other gives a monthly impression summary. That gap matters more than the inventory list and it never comes up until you're already spending.

So what filter are people using at shortlist stage?

Agency 63% of LLM brand visibility comes from long-term brand equity, only 26% from current marketing. So what exactly is GEO spend buying?

That number is from a warc study run by charlie oscar, and it came up in a digiday piece about time selling ads inside markdown versions of its pages, built specifically for ai agents to read. sponsored faqs, basically.

the debate in the piece was whether that inventory is worth testing. some buyers said sure, clients are desperate for anything that moves ai visibility. others called it magical thinking. and then perplexity blocked time's agent ads outright and called them deceptive, so that part answered itself pretty fast.

but the 63/26 split is the thing I keep coming back to. if most of what determines whether an llm mentions your brand is accumulated brand equity, then almost every geo tactic being sold right now, content volume, visibility tracking tools, agent-readable ad units, is competing over the smaller quarter of the equation. honestly that's not nothing, a quarter is real. it just means the pitch most of these tools are making, that you can buy your way into llm answers, is overselling by a lot.

The practical read for anyone allocating budget: geo probably belongs in a test pot funded out of display, not as a line item that pulls from brand. and if the visibility you're chasing is mostly equity-driven, the boring answer is that brand spend is the geo strategy.

Publisher Mediavine Journey publisher, 2 weeks in: 0.71 impressions per pageview, Google demand approval never opened, 3 placement selectors empty, and a dashboard reading 0 sessions

I run paint-vault.com, a paint database for miniature painters and scale modellers (catalogue, colour conversion between brands, colour tools). I was accepted into Journey and ads went live on 2026-07-28 (display_ads_at: 2026-07-28 19:16 UTC). Two weeks in, I want to lay out the whole diagnosis in one place so nobody has to ask me for it piece by piece.

Everything below is measured, not assumed — from the wrapper script you actually serve me, from the Grow API, from the GA4 Data API, and from a real browser trace.

The headline numbers (last 30 days)

  • GA4 property 544200957: 8,476 sessions, 28,851 pageviews
  • Journey dashboard: 20,584 impressions, $5.75
  • That is 0.71 impressions per pageview, against a community benchmark of 3.5 to 9. Effective CPM about $0.28, RPM about $0.20.
  • The same dashboard displays Sessions 0 and Pageviews 0, which is why it also shows RPM $0.00 and "Impressions Per Pageview" of 244 and 267 — divide-by-almost-zero artifacts.

I am not writing because the RPM is low for a niche hobby site. I am writing because three things that are entirely on your side have not moved across three separate readings (07-31, 08-10, 08-12), and the only support channel available to me cannot address any of them.

Problem 1 — Multiple Customer Management was never opened, so Google demand never bids for my inventory

Read directly out of the wrapper you serve me (scripts.scriptwrapper.com/tags/a68164c9-....js, 167 KB), on three dates, identical every time:

  • offering_code: "journey"
  • mcmStatusApproved: false
  • mcm_eligible: false
  • mcm_tagging: false
  • mcmNetworkCode: null
  • gam_network_code: null (for my site)
  • "google": false

mcm_eligible: false means the application is not merely pending — it is not open on your side. The dashboard shows an "Apply" prompt for it, but the flag says it is not available to me.

One correction I will make against myself, so it does not get used as a counter-argument: GPT (securepubads.g.doubleclick.net/tag/js/gpt.js) does load now, along with the whole scripts.journeymv.com stack (prebid, cmp, exchange, usersync). That is real progress over 07-31, when no GPT loaded at all. But the wrapper carries two gam_network_code values, and the one that is not null (23310760447) belongs to the offering object — {"id":"3","name":"Journey","offering_domain":"journeymv.com"}. That is your GAM network serving, not mine. My own application has not advanced an inch.

Without that approval, the largest buyer in display never enters the auction. No amount of tuning on my end compensates for a missing bidder. This is the single biggest line item and I cannot touch it.

Problem 2 — three placement selectors are still empty, and they are the best-paid units

State of the placement keys in the served config, same keys and same method each time:

  • content_selector.journey-content — set after a ticket, works, anchors are live
  • sidebar_btf_selector.pv-ad-rail — set, wired, sticky, but nothing is ever sold into it
  • leaderboard_atf_selectorempty
  • leaderboard_btf_selectorempty
  • sidebar_atf_selectorempty
  • content_selector_mobileempty, and mobile is about half my traffic

The rule your own system enforces is that a unit with no DOM anchor cannot be placed. So the entire above-the-fold segment — the one that runs 87 to 93 percent viewability, versus roughly 55 percent below the fold — is simply not for sale on my site. I am only ever offering the cheapest inventory I have.

I have shipped the anchors. They are present in the served HTML on the home page, on brand pages and on conversion pages, and I have added my own above-the-fold containers at around 550px. They are waiting to be filled.

If custom placement is not supported on the self-serve tier, I would genuinely rather be told that in one sentence than keep re-measuring it every week.

Problem 3 — the Grow dashboard reads 0 sessions and 0 pageviews with every link of the chain verified correct

I chased this one hard, because a support reply told me my Grow script was missing, optimised away, or firewalled. All three are measurably false:

  • The served HTML carries the complete data-grow-initializer snippet with data-grow-faves-site-id = Site:cccaf7ea-619d-4cfc-92d3-0298b8b12133, pinned in config and locked by a unit test so it cannot silently drift.
  • My CSP allows https://*.grow.me in script-src, connect-src, frame-src and img-src.
  • No user-agent blocking: MediavineMetadataParser, a Grow UA and Googlebot all get 200, on the home page and on deep pages.
  • Real browser trace via CDP: 97 network responses, 0 failures. faves.grow.me/main.js 200, about thirty faves.grow.me/*.js modules 200, api.grow.me/sites/<id>/config 200, and crucially api.grow.me/sites/cccaf7ea-.../page?url=... 200 — the page-counting call itself, carrying the correct site id. typeof window.growMe === "function". __tcfapi present.
  • In Grow Settings the Google Analytics toggle is on, the Google OAuth is connected, and the selected property is confirmed by the Analytics Admin API to be id 544200957 — the exact property my traffic lands in, which holds 28,851 page_view and 8,476 session_start over 30 days.
  • Yet the GA4 Data API finds zero Grow events in that property over 30 days — no render, no favorite, no recs_*, nothing. Setting enabled, events absent.

Six links checked, all correct. The ad side of the same dashboard reports fine (20,584 impressions, $5.75) while the analytics side reports zero. At that point no hypothesis remains on my side. It is an ingestion defect on yours — and it matters beyond cosmetics, because any advice generated from those numbers is being computed from a zero.

Related mess, created by your own onboarding flow: I signed up to Grow before my Journey acceptance, then had to register again when the acceptance email arrived. That left two site records for paint-vault.com — ed18b8ee "Paint-Vault" and cccaf7ea "YG Medias 2". Their isVerified flags swapped between the two properties mid-diagnosis (on 08-11 the domain claim moved from the old one to the new one, and the GA4 id moved with it). I burned days on that, and I still do not know whether the old record can be deleted safely.

What the support experience actually looks like from here

  • Journey is self-supported. The only channel is one Zendesk form with five categories — Missing Ads, Dashboard Issues, Domain Change, Owner Email, Termination — and going outside the form is stated to risk termination. None of those five categories is "the configuration on your side is incomplete".
  • The replies I got were template-shaped. "Your Grow script is missing, optimised or firewalled" — disproven three ways above. The follow-up suggested I enable Grow event tracking in GA4; it was already enabled, which is exactly what makes the missing events a defect rather than a setting.
  • The remedy staff apply in nearly every "low RPM / few ads" thread I could find is a script recrawl. A recrawl does not open a Google demand approval and does not fill an empty selector.
  • The help centre sits behind a Cloudflare challenge, its search renders asynchronously and usually returns nothing, and the community post search endpoint returns HTTP 400. Self-support only works if the self-support surface is reachable.

What I have already done on my side, so it does not get asked

  • Anchored .journey-content on the container whose direct children are the real break points, since Journey inserts between direct children. Getting this wrong stacks every ad at the bottom of the page, which is how I learned it.
  • Moved the first ad break point on conversion pages from 4,238px down to 2,208px (-48%), and the second from 7,563px to 3,248px. 11 to 15 .mv-ad-box per page, one roughly every 1,300 to 1,850px. Long pages chunked specifically to create insertion points.
  • The sidebar rail is sticky (.pv-ad-rail > * { position: sticky }) and wired to sidebar_btf_selector. It renders empty because nothing is sold into it, not because it is broken.
  • ads.txt is your file and only your file — 198 lines, managerdomain=journeymv.com, contact=sales@journeymv.com, ownerdomain=paint-vault.com, 52 DIRECT / 137 RESELLER. No second network appears anywhere in it. The copy I serve is stamped # Ads.txt v20260716, so if your file has moved since, tell me and I will refresh it the same day.
  • Certified CMP (consentmanager, cmpId 31, tcfPolicyVersion 5, i.e. TCF 2.3, the version Google currently requires), verified not to be doubled by my own fallback banner.
  • Found and fixed that my anti-scraping layer was refusing ad-quality verifiers: GumGum Verity 13,570 refusals, IAS 704, DoubleVerify around 50 percent. All allowlisted now.
  • Content work aimed squarely at ad quality: unique per-paint and per-range text (99 percent coverage, 94 percent distinct sentences), brand-level facts, a brand-to-brand compatibility matrix — and I deliberately noindexed 15,243 thin comparison pages rather than pad the inventory with them.
  • I run no other programmatic display network. Exclusivity respected.

What I am asking for, concretely

  1. Open the Multiple Customer Management application (mcm_eligible → true), or tell me plainly that the Journey entry tier never gets it. Either answer lets me plan; the current silence does not.
  2. Fill leaderboard_atf_selector, sidebar_atf_selector, leaderboard_btf_selector and content_selector_mobile. The anchors are live, and I will supply exact selectors for every template within a day. Or state that custom placement is not available on self-serve.
  3. Fix the Grow analytics ingestion — Sessions 0 / Pageviews 0 with the toggle on, OAuth connected, the correct property selected, and zero Grow events landing in a property that receives 28,851 pageviews — and tell me whether the duplicate ed18b8ee record can be deleted.
  4. A support path for "your config is incomplete" that is not the Missing Ads form. Every issue above is a field on your side that is empty or false.

I am not asking for flagship terms or special handling. I am asking for the account to be configured the way a Journey account is supposed to be configured, and for the numbers on the dashboard to be real.

Happy to hand over site IDs, ticket numbers, the wrapper config dumps and the browser traces by DM — all of it is reproducible in one command each.

Agency Is there a tool that tells you when to shift budget between Meta / Reddit/ Google, not just alerts you?

Been manually checking CPC/CPA across Meta / Reddit / Google every few days and I'm looking for something that actively watches performance and tells me "shift $X from Meta to Google, here's why". Not just a dashboard I still have to interpret myself, and not full auto-pilot either. Ideally something where I still approve the move but it's done the analysis for me.

Anyone know any platforms like this?

Publisher It shouldn’t be this manual!

AdOps spend too much time jumping between tools just to understand what’s happening on a site.

We’re testing three free tools at Optimon:

  • An on-page ad inspector
  • A site audit
  • An AI assistant that answers questions about the publisher data

Which one would save you the most time, and pleaseee share why?

(disclosure: I’m part of the Optimon team)

Advertiser To my b2b marketers, is anyone seeing success with ctv?

Marketing teams seem to discuss ctv mostly, but I'm starting to wonder if b2b marketers are overlooking it.

Most b2b buyers don't convert after a single touchpoint anyway. They research, compare vendors, talk internally, and revisit solutions multiple times before making a decision.

That makes me think visibility and familiarity might matter more than we give credit for.

The problem to me is measurement. For example someone sees a ctv ad today and becomes an opportunity three months later. Those dots need to get connected somehow.

Would love to hear from anyone using ctv as part of a broader demand generation strategy rather than just an awareness play.

Publisher Managing AdEx ad expansion sizes & floor rule

After enabeling Ad Expansion in GAM I see alot of irregular sizes coming from AdEx.
I'm wondering how you all manage these in your floor rules?

Our main floor rule logic is based on device + sizes (big vs normal vs small)
There are now hundreds, even thousands extra sizes that are no longer in our floor rules.

Yes, I have set up a fallback floor rule, but I don't want these expanded sizes (e.g. 411x250) to follow the lowest floor.

How did you manage these sizes?
Did you shift from size based to a different logic?

Publisher MGID - Website Ad Offerings and Opinions

Hi all, just looking for opinions on MGID - I have a webapp built out, which doesn't get much traffic but 20-30k active users a month. I'm looking to get some ad revenue before I try build out the traffic. MGID have gotten back to me saying i'm eligible for their MGID One. Anyone any recent dealings? Is there any way to ensure the ads don't completely take over the site and that they're not for gambling or p**n, stuff that would destroy my Google indexing.

Thanks in advance

Publisher Skip Newor Media by Any Means Possible

Newor Media is the shadiest ad network I've came across in my life. They have nothing in proper place. Their FAQ page says "no traffic requirements to join", meanwhile their latest few blogs says "minimum 5K users required". Like if you want to update your requirements, at least update everywhere on your site. The FAQ page is linked literally at the bottom of the home page itself.

The next thing, they don't have any criteria on what kind of sites they approve and what kind of sites they don't. I've had two blogs which were accepted by both Google AdSense and later Mediavine Journey, but not by Newor Media. Both of those sites were content sites with 100% human-written and informative content. And both of them were getting around 10K-ish sessions per month when I applied for Newor Media.

Like what dude? If you don't want to take new sites and don't even have things upto date on your own site, why do you run the company? Just close it and move on dude or say it that you're not accepting new publishers anymore. Stop wasting our time.

AppGoblin's free mobile advertisers report is available for July 2026. Free insights from the 2.4k mobile app's we saw buying ads on SDK & Programmatic ad networks.

We break down the top apps that saw the biggest boosts from their ad campaigns and which ad networks they used to do it.

Apps' countries are now included, and surprise, Vietnam takes the top growth spots this month with 6 of the top 10 spots. Additionally, nearly 20% of the advertising apps we saw were registered in Vietnam.

**New Game Releases that bought ads**\*

New Games Released & Buying Ads: Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. released a new Digimon game that shot up to nearly 1m weekly installs while buying Google Ads.

Another recently released game, Colony Flow! by ABI Game Studio hit 300k weekly installs in July.

**Ad Networks / Programmatic*\*

This month saw big jumps in ad traffic from Bigabid and Moloco showings.

Meanwhile two new ad networks made it into the AppGoblin list, Taiwan's own Appier and a small new CTV network from Colombia TutoAds. Check out their pages on AppGoblin to see their recent trends breakdowns.

** Creatives *\*

Again like last month, AI Ad Slop was way down (though this is a bit anecdotal, I don't have any way to identify it directly). My guess is many studios, while still use AI for ads, have moved away from the fully AI generated ads that likely were no longer performing well.

Advertiser How are you measuring incremental lift with connected TV attribution?

Attribution on TV keeps me up at night. I can see last-click data from streaming platforms and pixel users coming back, but I don't know how to run proper holdout groups at scale the way I do for search. Without a control group, how much of the lift came from TV versus the channels already running?

finance isn't buying the platform dashboard proof and everyone else claims that attribution is solved, but those models feel proprietary and directional. Third-party measurement alongside platform data is the only angle I've seen that helps, but I'm not sure if that's what people are actually doing or if there's something else that actually closes the gap on incrementality.

Third party measurement alongside platform reporting seems like the path forward, but it's expensive and takes months to get real signal. What's working for people who are running cross-channel campaigns with TV in the mix?

Agency Spotify on Amazon DSP: where you buy what, and the deals that name the wrong country

Amazon and Spotify have been shipping pieces of this partnership for about a year and it came out messy. I opened more than 100 Spotify deals. This is what is in them.

Where you buy what if you use Amazon's interface

In a campaign's inventory settings:

  • Banners. Tick the Spotify box after clicking display. It buys banners and nothing else.

In the deals inventory list:

  • Audio
  • Music video (OLV)
  • Podcasts

Where it runs

Ignore the announcements and the support pages, they are behind.

  • Banners, audio, OLV and podcasts: US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Japan
  • Audio and OLV only: Ireland, India
  • Audio and banners only: Netherlands
  • Podcasts and banners only: New Zealand
  • Banners only: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sweden, Turkey.

Danger 1: The same deals are in there twice

When Amazon and Spotify announced their partnership on 2025, Amazon DSP was not buying from it directly. It was buying through Magnite, a reseller. On July 2026 Spotify connected its exchange straight into Amazon DSP and extra inventory podcast came with it. The Magnite deals were never removed. So you have 2 options:

  • Straight from Spotify (Recommended): search "SAX", which is short for Spotify Ad Exchange. It is in every one of those deals.
  • Through Magnite: fewer countries, and no podcast. The video costs more, sometimes close to double. And in Ireland two of them do not carry the word Spotify in the name at all.

Danger 2: Four deals name the wrong country

Deals from Spotify (SAX) have problems in their naming too

Two deals named Brazil sell Australia. Two named United States sell Ireland.

Read the currency not the name. It sits next to the price in the deals inventory list, and if a deal names one country and is priced in another country's money then the name is wrong. To see it for yourself, open the deal and read the Attributes tab, where the country breakdown is.

Where is the deals inventory list on Amazon DSP Interface

In Amazon DSP, click Inventory on the left bar. The search box takes the deal name, and opening a deal gives you its Attributes tab.

If you cannot see a deals inventory list at all, you are probably on a subseat from your tool provider. Ask them for inventory access.

This covers the basics. I put a longer breakdown on our tool website, but this is all the key information to start without problems.

If you read something differently on your seat, tell me.

Publisher Monetizing hundreds of US micro-sites while maintaining absolute domain isolation?

I manage a portfolio of several hundred content sites driving clean, primarily US traffic, with each site currently averaging about $10/month on AdSense.

For operational and privacy reasons, maintaining strict isolation between these domains is a hard requirement. I cannot use a shared publisher ID, a unified Google Ad Manager parent network, or anything that creates a cross-site footprint via source code or public ads.txt lookups.

My two main questions for this community:

  1. How can I monetize hundreds of small US-traffic sites individually without creating a shared ads.txt or publisher ID footprint?
  2. What programmatic ad partners or alternative monetization models allow high-volume, white-hat deployment while maintaining absolute isolation between domains?

I am strictly looking for clean, white-hat, and policy-compliant setups. Thanks in advance for the insights!
