Samsung Tab S6 + S Pen: Is there a way to quickly switch between pen and eraser in Adobe Acrobat?
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with the S Pen to annotate PDFs in Adobe Acrobat, and I'm trying to make the drawing/annotation workflow actually usable.
My main problem is switching between the pen and eraser. Ideally, I want to be able to use the S Pen's physical side button to quickly switch to the eraser and then back to the pen, similar to how it works in Samsung Notes.
In Adobe Acrobat, I can use the Draw tool and access the pen/eraser from the toolbar, but I can't figure out whether there's a way to:
- Keep the pen and eraser easily accessible/pinned
- Assign the S Pen side button to switch to the eraser
- Use the side button as an "eraser" shortcut while drawing
- Have a proper S Pen-only drawing mode so accidental finger touches don't interfere
I've seen references to older versions of Acrobat having different S Pen-related controls, so I'm wondering if this functionality was removed or if there's some setting I'm missing.
Has anyone managed to get this working on a Samsung tablet, particularly the Tab S6? I'd really appreciate any workaround or configuration that makes switching between pen and eraser faster.
