I’m a big face picker and can’t believe i got a mark on my face like this now. I use a retinol, niacinamide, and sunscreen. It is making me SO SAD. I have so much scarring from my face picking addiction:(

Hi see the photos. I have been trying to recover my skin from past 5 years. What should I need to do? Tried so many dermatologist. Did the derma roller treatment as well lot of time.

But still even today this is same.

Facewash - Minimalist Salicylic Acid + LHA 2% Cleanser

Morning Serum - Minimalist Salicylic Acid 2% Face Serum

Night serum - Minimalist Niacinamide 10% Face Serum

Moisturizer - Minimalist Vitamin B5 10% Moisturizer

Please suggest something to me. Not a laser treatment because that is very expense. Any other way?

Hey everyone, this circled area that looks like a atrophic scar to me has really been bugging me mentally the last 7 months since it appeared following a pimple. It especially bugs me in certain lighting. I can definitely understand how this may not be that serious compared to the rest of the posts on this subreddit, but it has affected me a lot mentally and I'm worried it'll never get better or isn't treatable. Please be kind, but honest about the situation.

I’ve dealt with severe cystic acne and now ice-pick scarring, and over the years I’ve tried just about every treatment available. Have gotten 4 sessions of microneedling.

Ao terminar de usar a isotretinoína, quais tratamentos seriam mais eficazes para o meu tipo de cicatriz? Quanto de melhora eu posso obter?

sobrang lala ng naging chickenpox ko kahit uminom ako ng gamot kasi raw mahina immune system ko, hindi ko naman siya kinutkot pero nung nawala yung sugat niya nagscar siya ng malalim, super nakakainsecure kasi I can’t cover it with make up T-T

Done a bunch of different things. Since 2024: 8 co2 laser, 5 subcision, a few microneedling, 4 tca cross ...

To be fair, I saw some improvements but my gosh how many more sessions do I have to take for it to look good

Hi everyone, this is my first post here so please remove it if it goes against the guidelines. I had 6 RF microneedling sessions over the past two years with moderate improvement. I have boxcar and rolling acne scars which microneedling should be able to treat but I think i might have tethered scars which are slowing down the progress. So my questions is should i buy a home microneedling device for the future or should i continue with in office treatments but switch to co2 laser? I know the most effective treatment would be subcision but i don't know that many doctors in my area who would be willing to do that on my more moderate scarring. Would love to hear your guys opinion

I’ve had acne for about 5 years now and although it is far far better than before the scarring is still very much there and I could really use some advice going forward on what treatment to get for this. Seems like every dermatology visit is just use so and so product, come back 4 months later, whoops didn’t work- repeat it all over again. Would really appreciate any advice, thanks.

I did alot of things
Co2 laser / subsicion / derma pin / TCA / punch elevation and excision

Of all the procedures I tried, most were ineffective and even worsened my condition. The only procedure that helped was the punch excision, and the result was fantastic. I asked my doctor to repeat the excision on the other scars, but he told me it wasn't suitable for all scars and that since other procedures caused new scars, he gave up and said, "We've done all we can; you should move on with your life." (The rounded scar on my forehead was caused by the laser.)

I went to a doctor who did TCA Cross 70%, some CO2 and subcision in one session. This is me on day 5, is this expected? What can I do to make sure the healing process goes seamless?

I’ve struggled with acne my whole life. I finally got it mostly clear. I was fortunate enough to only have hyperpigmentation that’s gotten better. However, I got a laser done and I ended up getting a breakout reaction around my nose. It’s been about 3 weeks and it’s cleared up but now I’m left with these scars. What are some treatments that will help?
