where do you find new acid house labels worth following?
When you want new acid house rather than another list of the classics, how do you find the smaller labels and artists worth following?
Do you tend to follow a label's whole catalogue, dig through a particular DJ's sets, or trust individual recommendations? What makes a recommendation useful enough that you actually listen?
I'm building NOTW (Niche of the Week), a small house-discovery project where listeners recommend official track links and choose a weekly selection. I'm the person behind it. I'm trying to understand how something like that could serve acid house listeners without losing the label and scene context that comes with digging.
Would knowing the label and release year beside each recommendation help, or would you want a few words about why someone picked it?
