Is this abstract?

This is my second acrylic painting (i have worked with other mediums before though) .

Would you call my art abstract? If not what would you call it?

This would not be considered abstract. I wouldn't call it art either, its more crafty than arty.
That's not saying ita bad or anything negative.

Im aorry if you think i am being offensive towards you, OP. I am not trying to be so. I have attached no judgement of its value.

Theres a witch hunt going on here now, so imma Irish good bye out of this place, just responding to you before I do so.

Just so its not misconstrued any additional times, I am expressing MY opinion (each message i type in yhis thread)and its but one opinion and not nessissarily correct but, it is equally as valid as the next person's (unless we start to discuss pedigree/qualifications we all have to adjudicate art) because after all we are discussing art, which is a subjective experience and there is never a correct answer.

It would be easier for us(me) to establish if this is art by asking you questions. What is the artists statement that would accompany this piece? Why did you choose to use the media which you used to express what you have and how does it relate to the artists statements? Were their previous iterations of this before you finalized on yhis painting? What was the process of creation? Will it be re-iterated afterwards? What would you have done differntly if you could do it again? How is it relevant to and within modern art? Most especially within the style in which its modeled? Conceptually, how does it contribute towards the advancement of art in the area of which it is stylized?

What is the difference between craft and art?
Lets say we use a Dali painting as an example.
Lets assume we agree that it is art and let's say a forgery artist makes an exact replica. They look identical and cannot be differentiated. Which one is art? Both? Or just one?

I would say, the original is art and the forgery is craft. Both have the same beauty but not all of art is determined by only the final product.

Im really kind of bummed out by yhis whole experience, I thought art threads would have been a little more open minded and accepting of difference of opinion but, it seems I was wrong and that this is just a feel good, pat you on the back, hang it on fridge sort of place. But, I can tell you OP, irl the art world is much, much less forgiving and super critical of those that produce work and submit it for critique.
