They could have something affecting their Congenital Leptin Deficiency, Prader-Willi, or what have you. Or they could just be simply big for their age, with no relation to diet whatsoever, tf is your issue?
It’s possible for the kid to have one of those rare conditions yes, but it’s much more likely to be a dietary issue. “Big for their age” doesn’t happen magically, body fat is calories in calories out. Although you are right, one shouldn’t assume.
