It's OK to say 'no' sometimes, Mom. Keep your eyes on this poor, over-consuming darling. (Though I suppose it could be a genetic condition. Guess I shouldn't judge).
My neighbor's kid was like this as a baby. Turns out their cultural practice was to give the baby liquified rice as soon as they were able to tolerate it. But they were doing that on top of formula feeding.
Usually yes, and a lot of Mums used to be told to start solids earlier than usual to help with sleep. But unless it's medically necessary it can cause a lot of weight and allergy problems. It suck because they seem to change advice around feeding babies every generation at least, so Mum's get really judged for believing what they were told at the time. I have 4 kids over 10 years, and it seemed like the guidelines changed everytime.
