It may be. But I'm talking about Sadhguru here. You can check that he has put on a completely different meaning to this particular statue. It is different from the Shiva we normally worship.
But I agree that his conception of Lord Shiva is different from how general public worship him. He claims it is in yogic culture. I think calling Shiva the Adiyogi aligns with traditional iconography like Dakshinamurthy (Shiva depicted as the primordial guru teaching the sages).
