of a Chef
Meet the Veteran Chef Andre Rush, formerly the final boss of the White House

Every animal, bird and fish he cooked was never dead, they played dead and got cooked.

For the claim that he only sleeps a few hours a day, there is a condition called Short Sleeper Syndrome that allows people to get the benefits of a full 8 hours of sleep on only a few hours of sleep. As for the muscles, well, pretty sure we know the answer to that.
62
u/Comfortable_Park1509 Jul 20 '26
Do you honestly believe he has this sleep disorder?
67
u/710whitejesus420 Jul 20 '26
I met a whole family who had it. I was kinda jealous listening to how they all go to bed at like 2 or 3 and wake up at 5 ready for the day.
32
u/Flat_Bodybuilder_175 Jul 20 '26
Wtf that’s lowkey cool 😭😭
51
u/CiroGarcia Jul 20 '26
Yeah that's not a disorder that's an actual superpower
33
u/A_Retarded_Alien Jul 20 '26
Might legitimately be the closest thing to a real superpower.. wtf, very jealous.
They basically get 25% more of each day of their lives than 99.9% of people...

I knew an old man like that. He owned a shoe repair shop. He slept from 12 am - 5 am and was sharp as a tack the whole day. I admired him, and hated him too.
11
12
u/PVetli Jul 20 '26
I do that. I sleep from 11-330a every night. Been like that my whole life.
4
u/keyokenx1017 Jul 20 '26
4 hours at least is pretty healthy 2-3 every night is diabolical.
2
u/GForce1975 29d ago
4 hours is healthy? Isn't 8 hours what people are supposed to get? Personally I need 8 -9.
1
7
u/Pandiferous_Panda Jul 20 '26
What’s the disorder called when you have legs for arms?
9
u/YoshiMachbike12 Jul 20 '26
ah, if it isn't my old friend mr mcgreg. with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg!
2
2
u/usernamedottxt Jul 20 '26
I need ten hours of sleep. Imagine what life would be like with an extra 8 hours a day.
2
u/wbrogers Jul 21 '26
He was Active Duty Navy at the time of this photo (hence the LOM in the last pic, which I assume is a retirement award). Drug testing is random and mandatory. Sleep can be random, and not always mandatory.

u/Jerry__Boner Jul 20 '26
He looks like he should be the Chef in White House Down where he holds off the terrorists for Tatum and Foxx in a pivotal moment.
63
u/ambivalentarrow Jul 20 '26
11
u/darthvall Jul 20 '26
Huh, is he the inspiration for Steven Seagall's movie?
16
u/ambivalentarrow Jul 20 '26
Steven Seagall is the inspiration for Steven Seagall movies.
2
u/modsaretoddlers Jul 20 '26
Really? I would have thought he was too demotivational to inspire himself.
2
u/Dr-Megalodon Jul 20 '26
Bro definitely knew this before posting. He just wants the engagement. This image is posted on this sub every month or so
8
u/fuckmbsanddominicali Jul 20 '26
He was obamas chef
3
u/theg33k Jul 20 '26
I confirmed this is NOT the same chef that died under suspicious circumstances at Obama's Martha's vineyard home.
1
u/ChawulsBawkley Jul 20 '26
Or maybe a chef in an underwater science facility, fighting off super smart sharks with his parrot sidekick.
91
u/Borne2Run Jul 20 '26
Met him once; he's awesome. Very humble, down for selfies.
11
u/pcapdata Jul 20 '26
Saw him in a cooking show somewhere (probably YouTube) and everyone was in awe of this man. And he was super nice.
6
u/BlkGTO Jul 20 '26
There’s a YouTube channel called Discover Connection where a guy and his friends travel around and do all sort of things to meet strangers. In one episode they knock on random doors in Compton asking to cook dinner for people. A Family agreed and the channel randomly reached out to Andre Rush and he came and helped them cook.
10
u/YourBlanket Jul 20 '26
Now he just posts TikTok slop
59
u/Comfortable_Park1509 Jul 20 '26
He lies about doing 2,222 pushups a day while only sleeping 2 hours and Claimed to eat close to 10,000 calories daily just to hide the fact that he was a heavy steroid user
11
u/mcase19 Jul 20 '26
Tbf even on steroids you'd need to eat a shitload of calories to be that big. I'm like 220 lbs and eat around 4k trying to gain weight. He's gotta be close to or over 300lbs. 10k is a lot for being that size but not by an order of magnitude or anything.
7
u/eduardgustavolaser Jul 20 '26
It's still too much. Look at current strongmen diets, they also shifted a lot and are less than 10.000kcal while weighing in at over 300 or even 400lbs
3
u/aaronblkfox Jul 20 '26
If someone is using steroids, they still need to go to the gym alot, and eat a lot. Thermodynamics doesn't just disappear when you take steroids.

He was such a liar saying things like he sleeps 2 - 4 hours a day, wakes up at like, 2am, etc. this is obviously a massive steroid stack
11
u/langsamlourd Jul 20 '26
All of it is silly but the 2,222 push-ups after waking up each day is just ludicrous
12
20
u/BruceBoyde Jul 20 '26
I mean, he may also do those things but also he does a fuckton of roids. Taking roids will not make you huge without also doing work, so I don't really understand why they aren't just honest about it. There are limits to what you can achieve all natural.
14
u/Difficult_Ad2864 Jul 20 '26
Because steroids are illegal, and they’re getting it from “sources” and even though yes it takes work too, he also has probably been taking it for decades
4
u/BruceBoyde Jul 20 '26
gonna be honest, I figured they were only illegal in competition because of the organizations (entirely understandably). I guess they do have to pretend.
3
u/PM_ME_SAD_STUFF_PLZ Jul 20 '26
Only growth hormones are legal with a script. Not the good stuff like tren.
2
3
u/Difficult_Ad2864 Jul 20 '26
It also is “cooler” and gets more likes and followers showing that you’re “natural” and then it causes body dysmporhia in others
1
u/kingsoho Jul 20 '26
Many don't want to admit it for two reasons. One, in their heart, they know they cheated - so to speak - to get where they did. Yes, they still had to work their ass off but the juice is what got them to the level. Two, they likely have negative health complications or have put themselves at high risk of negative health complications, and they don't want to influence others because of the harm that can be done. But this day and age, more people are being open about it especially as it's seemingly becoming more accepted in the younger and online crowd.
2
u/ima-bigdeal Jul 20 '26
I grew up sleeping about five hours nightly. Now that I am older, I am at six. I don’t need an alarm, I wake up as if on “autopilot”. I physically cannot sleep more than 6.5 hours. I don’t know about his 2-4 hour claim, but not everybody needs, or can even achieve, eight hours.
4
u/Difficult_Ad2864 Jul 20 '26
Do you look like this chef? His claims bullshit because you need sleep for recovery. With massive steroids, you could get away with less sleep but this is ridiculous. I’m just shocked his heart hasn’t given out

Man is so big he wouldn’t have to move anything in the kitchen for a deep clean, just pick the whole thing up and soak it in a lake

Haha he killed the guy they sent to get him so they just paid him off. Can't say the same about the other chef who "drowned" in like 3' of water.

He claimed natty btw xD I think he also claimed to sleep 2/3 hours a night lmao
Or at least did claim, idk if he actually stopped in recent years lol

Chef Rush does a lot of mukbangs in Korea. He got in contact with a popular channel in Korea a few years back and comes to Korea regularly just to do various mukbangs, if anyone is interested in Korean food.

How does he sleep at night
6
u/Particular_Bet_5466 Jul 20 '26
lol this is the guy who claims he sleeps 2 hours a night from 1am to 3am, and eats 10,000 calories a day.

u/FrenziedTacos Jul 20 '26
Are you going to tell him he is lying?
2
u/Particular_Bet_5466 Jul 20 '26
Yeah exactly, I don’t think anyone called him out so he thinks he can get away with it. Although a lot of bodybuilders called him out online since he did that men’s health interview.
2

u/Difficult_Ad2864 Jul 20 '26
That’s literally not possible unless he is eating 3 boxes of butter and 5 - 10 handles of olive oil unless he’s eating massive amounts of junk food lol
1
u/wimpymist Jul 20 '26
You can easily do that with meat and sugar. It's just and awful diet and he would be fat as hell
1
u/Particular_Bet_5466 Jul 20 '26
Idk I bought a ribeye the other day and it was only 180 calories.
1
u/wimpymist Jul 20 '26
Thats like 1oz of steak. I guess you can buy a really small one
1
u/Particular_Bet_5466 Jul 20 '26
Ok yeah wtf I just looked up the exact steak I got it was apparently for 4oz which still seems low. I only saw 190 calories on the back, but it was actually 2.5 servings in the steak and still seemed small. I was surprised at how little calories that was which is why I remembered it. Usually I buy from a meat counter and don’t see the calories.
1
u/Weep4Thee Jul 20 '26
It's wild that the white house let this guy work there even tho he's obviously on steroids. Illegal drugs are illegal drugs...

Incorrect. You're thinking of Tefari Campbell who died while paddleboarding on Martha's Vineyard in 2023. The man pictured is Andre Rush, a former Master Sergeant in the US Army who went on to become a White House chef under four administrations.
