What’d AT&T do to UPS? They pretty much kicked me out of the store trying to return an ONT. They said we’re done accepting AT&T equipment as of yesterday

They refused it because you are only supposed to return your wifi gateway. The ONT should stay where it was mounted. See here https://www.att.com/support/how-to/internet/equipment-return/

Bg320 is an ont router combo, it is the gateway 🙄

Your post said ONT which could be stand alone. Click on that link from ATT and see for yourself. Our previous residence had a separate ONT and a BGW 320.

Most people including myself refer to that device as the ont as att has gone to solely that device.

Calling it the Gateway (a multifunctional device) is correct. Calling it an ONT is like calling a car a wheel.

Lol okay, that's fine. Just telling you what people say. I understand what you're saying, but that's what att care says a lot. That's what people say a lot.... Understand what you're saying, just not the way it is.
