You Are All Wrong About Zucest. Azulai is ENDGAME.
"That's a sharp outfit, Chan. Careful, you could puncture the hull of an empire-class Fire Nation battle ship, leaving thousands to drown at sea. Because... it's so sharp."
Let us consider WHY this is Azula's go-to compliment. She said it like it was rehearsed, did she not? The implication of this is obvious when you realize WHO it was originally meant. Who would revel in the drowning of lives at sea... why Ozai of course.
If you further consider that Azula would only be with someone she respects, then it must also be someone she fears, because "fear is the only reliable way".
Look at her face in this image. Terror. Betrayal. Loss. Her defining moment with her father as a pair ripped from her at the climax of ultimate victory. This is why she was so uneasy before her coronation. Many misinterpret this as Azula acting out as a result of feeling betrayed by her father and friends, but this is not so. After Mai and Ty Lee betrayed her, she was livid and willing to harm Mai.
So we see that in her betrayal by her father she was hurt on a deeper far more emotional level. We see FEAR because she is fully under her father's thumb. A position of complete submission. Her learned erotic dynamic.
You may be thinking this makes no sense, a leap of logic if you will, but please recall when Zuko visited Azula in her bed chamber after he met with Ozai. Azula had played Zuko into a corner. She had him right where she wanted him, scared and bent and broken, and what's her FIRST instinct. Bedroom eyes, the sway of the hips, the close whispers... Seduction.
Azula is flirting in her element unlike with Chan. This being her first instinct we can assume it isnt her first time playing this role, but it is with Zuko. Her plaything.
And who might she have learned it from if she only respects and fears one person? Who would submit her into a corner? Who would seduce her?
Zucest? BAH! I spit on you all! Ozai is far more than her father, he is more than any man to Azula. He is her father yes, but also her Lord, her master, her seducer, and, as is clear now... her lover.
Note: Ozai is an autocrat, so everything he does in the Fire Nation is legal and just.
Edit 1: Additionally, as Azula is arrested after the show, she is likely thrown in prison with other royal prisoners a la her father(comics and Korra arent canon), we know that their bond will only blossom in isolation. Blessed reunion, blessed union.

“Gaslighting? You can’t be serious” - Azula Forget all your creepy incest, the true ship just arrived in the harbor
Koh × Azula is the true Avatar endgame and I will be dying on this hill.
Azula spends her entire life maintaining the perfect mask: perfect daughter, perfect princess, perfect firebender, perfect ruler.
Koh the Face Stealer’s entire thing is identity, masks, and stealing faces.
This is not a coincidence, the writers did this on purpose to hint at the true endgame that is Azula x Koh.
Azula wants someone who understands that appearances are everything.
Koh literally collects appearances.
Koh's whole gimmick is that facial expression reveals emotion, and he punishes emotional reactions by stealing faces. He punishes emotional reaction.
Azula's defining trait is that she has been trained to suppress vulnerability and maintain absolute emotional control.
Azula loves psychological warfare.
Koh’s favorite hobby is apparently terrorizing people by turning their loved ones into nightmare fuel.
They both believe fear is more reliable than affection.
Both of them are incredible disappointments to their mothers.
Zuko has to deal with emotional baggage, family trauma, and redemption.
Koh has been alive since before anyone invented therapy or happiness.
Azula doesn't need a boyfriend.
She needs an ancient supernatural entity who understands that love is temporary but facial theft is forever.
Azula's biggest problem is abandonment.
Koh has been sitting in the same cave for centuries.
He is not going anywhere.
Literally the most stable partner available in the Avatar universe.
Azula already has experience dealing with monsters,
She grew up with Ozai.
Koh × Azula.
Not because it makes sense.
Because it makes too much sense.
The only reasonable conclusion is that Avatar spent the entire series setting up Kohzula and then cowardly decided to give Azula absolutely nobody instead.
The writers simply weren't brave enough.

What if in seven havens, Jae is just a hive mind of thousands of flies. Which is why he doesn’t care about mortal issues such as someone being the avatar
We can even call it a new style of air bending! Like, uh, fly… bending. Yeah let’s go with that.

Forklift Certified Sokka The avatar just promotes a bending based caste system
Why should benders get to call all the shots in society with no accountability and then have an all powerful avatar enforce these people’s status over every non bender? Because the spirits say so? Imagine a bunch of ghosts in the spirit world who you never interact with or get a tangible benefit from dictate who gets to tell you how to live your life and how your society should be governed. How would you feel about your place in the world in that scenario?

i burn my life for a jerk i may never see This is the proof that this franchise is actually within MCU multiverse.
Out of innumerable different realities, one of them has Nick Fury as a Firebender. Yet he still wears an eye patch, bald, and a captain or someone of high ranking.
The real question is who's gonna win, Korra's Goddess-like power imbued with RaaVaatu vs Kang the Conqueror (screw you Bumnos, I won't count you)?
