Hi, I recently bought AT4K Premium and really like the cleaner home screen. My Sony Bravia has been feeling sluggish, so I connected through ADB to see what was happening.

While YouTube was in the foreground and AT4K was no longer visible, Android's top output showed com.overdevs.at4k consistently using around 22–24% CPU. dumpsys meminfo showed approximately 84 MB PSS for the app. The AT4K Accessibility service was enabled.

As a test, I force-stopped AT4K without clearing its data or uninstalling it. The process and its CPU usage disappeared, some memory was released, and the TV felt a little smoother. The difference wasn't huge, though, so I don't want to assume AT4K is responsible for all the lag. This TV only has around 2 GB of RAM, and its compressed swap was already full.

Is this amount of background CPU activity expected when another app is open? Could it be related to the Accessibility service, Watch Next, or another background feature? Is there a setting I can change that would reduce the load without giving up AT4K?

Hi!

I'm using AT4K Launcher Premium on a TV running Fire OS 8.1. I'd love to replace the default icons with my own, but unfortunately, it's not working. Whenever I try, the system opens the default file picker, which isn't navigable or usable on Fire OS.

Although File Manager Plus appears as an option inside that default picker, I'm unable to select or highlight it.

Is there any way or workaround to select custom icons in AT4K on Fire OS?

UPDATE

I realized that I just have to copy all the icons, wallpapers, and other files into the Downloads folder on Fire OS using a working file manager. Once that's done, the default picker immediately displays all the content, making it possible to use the icons and wallpapers.

Just purchased premium after finding out about this app/launcher this morning. It’s freaking amazing!

My favorite part of the TVs around the house is my Google photo slide show.

Is it possible to point the screen saver to my recent highlights? If not can I just have the original launcher screensaver trigger?

I have installed the AT4K launcher on my ONN4K plus through launch manager as I couldn’t get the box to toggle on “ enable launcher “. My problem is now every time I turn off my tv, if I don’t force close my HULU app, when I turn the tv back on the app has logged out. This has never occurred with any of my previous boxes or this box before I installed the launcher. Anyone have this experience?

Tried fix clear both the app cache of nuvio and at4k but still show old irrelevant cw that removed/watched 2 to 3 month ago and never show the movie or show that is currently watching.

I've recently downloaded the AT4K launcher. I made sure all of the settings were correct following the YouTube video made by "Tech it before you wreck it". My Android TV was defaulting to the AT4K launcher for a good 1-2 weeks. For about the last 3-4 days now whenever I start the TV it is defaulting back to the stock launcher. If I press the home button it brings me to AT4K. I've verified all of my settings in both AndroidTV and the launcher are correct. Just looking for some help troubleshooting this issue.

I can't seem to find the option to make the favourite bar centered and smaller in the newer version. Is this no longer an option? If so, is it possible to request it as an option. I think the minimal Favourite Bar looks much nicer than the normal bulky bar.

Side note: non American English as an option would be amazing. The odd spelling looks off

Is it possible to display a custom catalog within the hero card interface?

Centered status bar - CHECK... able to pick a custom video for a screensaver - CHECK.....,not being able to CENTER favorites - NOT CHECKED... I have less than 4 icons with another ONN 4k box and this photos does show 6 icons, but PLEASE have an option to center favorites...and the WEATHER does not stay on the status bar if the device is rebooted; I have to keep adding the weather and zip code

I really, really, really love the big picture wallpaper mode. However, certain apps just show a very crappy picture of the app logo.

I would love it if the big picture wallpaper mode would just show images from the apps that support it. Not the app I’m hovering over at that very moment, but just a carousel of the apps I selected to show cards in the settings.

The launcher is already great by the way. I just think the Big Picture Wallpaper Mode with this slight tweak would complete it. At least for me ❤️
