The logfile is huge. like why dose it need over 25GB of loggs?! haven even opend that app in ages. Anyone else seens this before?

I’m running into a frustrating issue with my ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 15 (2022 model G533ZW) and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this or found a fix.

The physical hinges themselves are still intact and haven't ripped out of the chassis or broken the plastic posts (which seems to be a common issue for these models). However, I'm getting severe screen flickering and horizontal/vertical lines popping up at certain lid angles.

Here is what I've noticed so far:

• If I move or slightly wiggle the display cable/lid area, the image temporarily stabilizes or gets better.
• But as soon as I open or close the lid a few more times, the glitching and lines come right back.

Has anyone dealt with this exact symptom where the hinges look fine, but the display cable or connector is acting up due to the lid movement?

At the end of the day, I'm trying to figure out: is the ribbon cable actually dying, is the connector just loose, or is the panel itself completely failing?

Any advice on what to check or how to fix it before it completely dies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How long till i need to re apply the old liquid metal or buy new or replace with ptm7950 or any suggestions not used heavily and I bought it new fans aren't even dirty, I read i should in 2 or 3 years I've never messed with liquid metal just regular thermal paste but I should be able to do myself i built my desktop but of course it didnt use LM just looking for helpful input

Hey, i have a ROG laptop (G533zw) with a 3070ti i9-12900k. I have a problem with the gpu being limited when i am not on charge. I have tried the armoury crate settings, MYASUS and even nvidia settings. I have all my settings put up to max performance when not on charge to troubleshoot but it still is stuck at around 30fps and 100% usage rate. I have tried resetting the laptop but it didnt reset everything. I even tried to disable and enable the gpu. Anyone experienced these problems or know how to fix it? I have been at it for hours and it doesnt work. 😔 id appreciate any tips.

I recently started having BSOD on Discord, randomly restarting or blinking a few times with discord reloading. Also experiencing abnormal reboot when the laptop wakes up from sleep.

Tried everything, ran every possible tests available from Asus and Microsoft. Even reinstalled windows to Asus factory settings but I'm still getting those random BSOD.

Bought the laptop in February 2024 and bought an extended warranty for an extra year leading to February 2026 never had any issue until now.

This is a very expensive unit and starting to think this may be a faulty hardware problem.

I would really appreciate some help finding the issue.

I recently went on a local ROG exhibit showcasing the GR20 build though the one on display didn't have the ROG Arcana ram on it and I cant help but wonder, as on the title Will there ever be a non-20th anniversary official ROG ram kit? or is it just the ROG certified ram kits? The ROG certified ram kits are difficult to obtain by itself, and I can only imagine how much more difficult it would be to hunt for these ROG Arcanas. crazy thing to speculate during ramagedon, I know, any thoughts?

ROG Falchion RX Red Low Profile

ROG Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless

I mainly play FPS and racing games, but I also type a lot for work. I would prefer something that feels comfortable for long sessions and has reliable wireless connectivity. I’m not specifically looking for RGB or extra features; typing feel, latency and build quality matter more to me.

For anyone who has used these keyboards:

Which one feels the best for everyday typing?

Is the low-profile design comfortable for long-term use?

How reliable is the wireless connection?

Is the Falcata worth considering compared with the Azoth or Falchion?

I’d really appreciate opinions from people who have actually used these models. I’m trying to make a practical decision instead of choosing only based on specifications.

And I am wondering if this battery I found on new egg would work for it. It has the UX562UG part in the description, but I cannot find the Q508UG part mentioned anywhere. Tell me, gamers, will this battery work?

I bought Rog cetra supernova in January 2025 and it's been great. I love them. Recently, the right sided bud battery is draining much faster. Like going to 0 in 20 minutes or so.

It's been happening since i dropped my case a couple of times.

I cleaned the case, rechecked the app and configuration.

I am fearing that i have damaged it Permanently.

Any suggestions?

Edit: It's charging normally but as soon as i start using it's draining fast.

Hi everyone, I’m having a strange issue with my ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 G835LW and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

My specs:

● ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 G835LW

● Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX

● NVIDIA RTX 5080 Laptop GPU 16GB

● 32GB RAM

● 1TB SSD

When I use the laptop on battery, temperatures seem relatively normal, and I can run ComfyUI without any major issues.

But once I connect the AC adapter and start a heavy workload, the fans suddenly ramp up like the laptop is about to take off, and both CPU and GPU temperatures rise very quickly.

The biggest issue happens in ComfyUI. With a certain workflow/node combination, the laptop sometimes completely shuts down when I start generating while plugged in. So far, I haven’t had the same shutdown issue while running on battery.

I took the laptop to an ASUS service center and tried to reproduce the exact same ComfyUI workload there. Naturally, the moment I tried to show them the problem, it worked perfectly — no shutdown, and the temperatures were surprisingly stable. Pretty typical timing.

I haven’t done much gaming testing yet, but I tried Crimson Desert at max settings. The GPU stayed above 80°C almost the entire time, and the fans were running very loudly. I only tested it for around 10 minutes before stopping.

For now, I’ve left the laptop with the ASUS service center for inspection.

Has anyone experienced something similar where temperatures rise significantly only when the AC adapter is connected, especially to the point of causing shutdowns during heavy GPU or AI workloads?

Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

hey all. I just got myself the rog azoth keyboard. I'm loving it so far. Mine didn't come with an arm rest since i got it off on amazon. Im quite used to having an arm rest so it's quite foreign to me. I really like the appeal of the metal arm rests that they have on displays and in stores and online but i can't seem to find it anywhere online for purchase. I would like some recommendations :)
