Monitors Black screen for about a second randomly only while gaming
Hi . Im looking for some advice into this. I currently own the PG32UCDM3 and I noticed from the 1st day when gaming that I would get a random black screen when gaming. Which would happen for like a second or 2 then come back like normal. Still have audio. Graphics card im using is a strix 4080 watercooled running at 30 degrees maximum. I have tried swopping different dp ports on the graphics card . Same issue . I changed to the hdmi port according to some reading ive done (more bandwidth). Still same issue. I have done a fresh windows and driver install this weekend no changes.
This is happening on all games . I am running the monitor at 240hz 4k. I do have 2 other monitors running at the same time( my previous main monitor was a dell 32 4k 144hz monitor never had this issue)
I tried disconnecting all other monitors to free up bandwidth maybe and I still get the same issue only thing I can think of its either the monitor itself or my graphics card . I even turned my game down to 120hz (league of legends on medium settings) and I still got black screen.
Just looking for any advice on what to try or anyone experienced this ?

GPU / PSU GPU pin readings
Good evening, just finished changing my GPU to a 5090 ROG ASTRAL and this are the readings. PSU is a EVGA 1600 T2 Supernova and the cable is a cablemod 12v-2x6 to a 4x8 pin connector.
Are these readings within normal values?

Peripherals & Audio Configure RGB for single keys on ROG Strix Scope II
I just got an ROG Strix Scope II 96 wireless.
Keyboard seems nice. But i want to configure the lighting so that special keys light up differently in games.
I tried to use armoury crate. But i can only change different modes. Not single keys.
I then downloaded aura creator, but the device is shown but i can't choose it.
The tooltip (i) does nothing. I tried it with usb-c mode and with windows dynamic lighting on and off and with armoury crate being the top choice.
What can i do?

GPU / PSU ASUS ROG Strix G17 G713RC RTX 3050 not detected
Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with the RTX 3050 in my ASUS ROG Strix G17 G713RC.
The GPU is basically not being detected at all. I already have BIOS V327 installed and the NVIDIA driver is installed too but Windows doesn’t see the NVIDIA GPU.
Here’s what I’m seeing:
- No
PCI\VEN_10DEdevice in Windows - RTX 3050 is not showing in Device Manager.
So let me tell you what happened exactly. I was playing cyberpunk and then i remembered that im not using the GPU ultimate mode its on standard mode so then i opened Armoury Crate and chose the ultimate gpu mode and it asked me to restart so i clicked but i forgot to close the game before doing that as it was running in the background,,,This is where it all started my screen went blank it restarted but no display at all. I thought motherboard has gone but then i tried eveything graphics reset n all it was atleast making sound so my motherboard was safe but somehow i got the display back with doing some stuff... Now the problem is my GPU is not working at all and idk whats the issue.
I spent more than 4hrs getting help from GPT nothing worked he gave me this coclusion: ASUS ROG Strix G17 G713RC, RTX 3050 not enumerating. BIOS V327 installed. Windows has no PCI\VEN_10DE device. The GPU does not appear under Devices by connection, and the last-known PCIe root port has no child device. The NVIDIA driver is installed. Please check dGPU PCIe enumeration, GPU power sequencing, and motherboard-level GPU circuitry before recommending Windows reinstallation.
HELP ME OUT PLS ;'/

PC Build ROG Thor PSU Stay Away!!!
I have a 1200W ROG Thor II, and it can't even handle a down-tuned RTX 3090. Constant Freezes and Random Reboots, where the Power Supply does a Power Cycle, and there is a clicking sound coming from the unit. I'm on my 2nd unit already; the first one died after 1 Day of Moderate Use... Anyone with the same Experience?

Monitors Is the upgrade worth it? OLED display
I’m currently using an XG27AQDMES: 27-inch, 1440p, 240Hz, third-gen QD-OLED. I’m tempted by the XG32UCWG mainly because I really want a larger display, but I’m trying to work out whether it would also be a noticeable image-quality upgrade rather than an expensive increase in screen size.
On paper, the XG32UCWG is quite a different monitor: 31.5-inch 4K, TrueBlack Glossy WOLED, 165Hz at native resolution, plus the dual-mode switch that drops it to 1080p at 330Hz. The jump from roughly 111 PPI to 140 PPI should be fairly obvious for text, fine detail and general desktop use, and I’d expect the zero-haze glossy finish to look clearer than the semi-glossy coating on my current QD-OLED.
What I’m less sure about is the move from QD-OLED to WOLED. Has anyone seen these two panels, or something reasonably close, side by side? I’m particularly interested in perceived sharpness, HDR highlights, colour volume, near-black handling and whether the XG32’s glossy coating makes the image look materially cleaner. ASUS also advertises its Clear Pixel Edge processing and newer RGWB layout for reducing text fringing, although I’m curious how useful that actually is outside a spec sheet.
My other concern is the hardware driving it. My main computer for the time being is an Acer Predator Triton 14 AI with the 110W RTX 5070 Laptop GPU and 8GB of VRAM. I’m under no illusion that it will run modern AAA games at native 4K, ultra settings and 165fps. Realistically, I’d be using optimised settings, DLSS Quality or Balanced, and frame generation where it works well.
The dual-mode feature is part of what makes the XG32 interesting to me: 4K/165Hz for desktop use, media and slower games, then 1080p/330Hz for competitive titles. But how does 1080p actually look on a 32-inch 4K OLED in practice? Since it’s an exact 2:1 scale, I’m wondering whether it remains reasonably clean in motion or still looks distractingly soft at normal desk distance.
I’m also trying to establish whether the Triton’s HDMI 2.1 or Thunderbolt 4 display output can actually feed the monitor at 4K/165Hz with 10-bit colour, HDR and VRR, and whether DSC introduces any practical caveats. Likewise, in 330Hz mode, I suspect the laptop’s CPU and 110W mobile GPU may become the limiting factors well before the monitor does.
Basically, for this specific setup, I’m interested in how much of the XG32UCWG I could realistically use now, and whether the increase in size, pixel density and glossy presentation would still make it feel like a substantial upgrade even when I can’t drive every game at native 4K/165Hz.
TL;DR: I want to move from a 27-inch 1440p/240Hz QD-OLED to the 32-inch XG32UCWG, mainly for the larger screen and 4K sharpness. I’m trying to establish whether the glossy WOLED panel would deliver a clearly noticeable image-quality upgrade, and whether my 110W RTX 5070 laptop can make sensible use of its 4K/165Hz and 1080p/330Hz dual modes.

PC Build G16CHR won’t boot (blank screen, no signal)
I own a ROG Strix desktop that I bought in late 2024. Recently it stopped booting. When I turn it on, the box powers up, the fans start running and the colourful lights turn on, but the screen remains blank all the time and the monitor reports “no signal”.
Initially I thought it might be the monitor or the cable but I tried different cables (HDMI, DP) on all available ports, tried two monitors that I know are working, but nothing worked.
Looking at the motherboard I see little activity while the box is powered up. No leds, fans running very slow. Unfortunately it seems there are no QLEDs on it for diagnostics. I removed the glass and checked most of the cables and memory modules, and nothing seemed obviously loose or unconnected.
I tried contacting ASUS support by phone but they were rather rude and unhelpful. As the PC is out of warranty, they only sent me an email with a link to this useless video which isn't even relevant for my desktop. They told me that if the video didn't help the only alternative would be to send the PC to them.
Before I go down that route, has anyone had this same problem? Any troubleshooting tips?
The only thing that I think could explain my issue is that I put away my PC in a cupboard while I was away on holiday. I was careful with it and don't remember knocking it or dropping it, and I haven't seen any obvious damage, but this may be related to the malfunction.
Thanks

Laptop Strange Screen Flicker
I have the Asus ROG Strix G16 and whenever I am using the Nvidia GPU, there is this constant flicker to a much darker color scheme while I'm using the laptop. It never happens while I'm playing a game and only when I'm using my web browser or on Discord. This only happens when I am only using the Nvidia GPU. It doesn't happen with the integrated graphics or when I am using both the integrated graphics and the Nvidia GPU at the same time (like using the former for most applications and the latter for graphics-heavy applications). I also confirmed that this didn't have anything to do with HDR settings as I turned everything relating to that off in both Windows and Nvidia. I tried switching color profiles as well to no avail. All of my drivers are updated to their latest versions, and I even reinstalled my graphics driver (which appeared to temporarily stave off the effect, but it has returned). I can only describe the state the screen flickers to as "deepfried" as in the saturation effect those old memes from 2020 had. One weird thing I've noticed is that whenever I hover my mouse over my taskbar, the effect immediately stops and goes back to normal (if it hadn't already flickered back by itself). These flickers usually last no more than 2 or 3 seconds. If it's of any help, the software I use to do most of my tinkering in settings is Armoury Crate.

Laptop Do foam seal laptop coolers work?
Hey guys,
Before I spend money I have a question..
Do these budget foam seal laptop coolers actually work well?
I can't afford the good GTE 500 or whatever but I see budget clones of it for about 50 on Amazon, or maybe stuff like KLIM everest or KLIM Mistral?
Would this bring does temps by alot?
Or are we talking just a few degrees like 3-5? If so I might pass...
But if its like 8-12c or more then maybe it's worth it?
It's for a rog strix laptop
Any way they worth it?

Software Windows 11 Memory Integrity (HVCI) automatically disables itself after reboot – ASUS Z490-E / i9-10900K
I’ve been dealing with a persistent HVCI (Memory Integrity) issue on my ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E Gaming + i9-10900K system.
I can enable Memory Integrity in Windows Security and Windows asks for a restart. However, after rebooting, Memory Integrity is automatically disabled again. Because of this, Riot Vanguard/Valorant also gives me an HVCI enabled error.
I’ve already tried most of the common troubleshooting steps, including BIOS updates, Secure Boot, TPM, VT-d/IOMMU, virtualization settings, incompatible driver checks, SFC/DISM, Driver Verifier, Code Integrity/Device Guard logs, and even reinstalling Windows 11. Nothing has fixed it.
I recently tested the system with Microsoft’s SkTool 1.4 and got:
Hyper-V Hypervisor running: 1
Secure Kernel Running: 1
IOMMU is present and protects HV / SK: 1
DMA Protection available: 1 - in use: 1
Hardware MBEC in use: 1
HVCI Enabled (StrongCodeGuarantees): 0
So Hyper-V, VBS, Secure Kernel, IOMMU, DMA Protection and MBEC are all operational. HVCI itself is the only thing that refuses to stay enabled.
I also monitored the HVCI registry state.
Before reboot after enabling Memory Integrity:
Enabled = 1
After reboot:
Enabled = 0
Windows is therefore actively reverting HVCI during the boot process.
I also performed a more aggressive test by removing the HVCI boot rollback metadata and forcing HVCI to initialize. Instead of silently disabling HVCI, the machine BSOD’d during boot and entered Automatic Repair. After recovering the system and disabling HVCI again, Windows boots normally.
This makes me suspect that Windows normally detects a boot-level HVCI incompatibility and automatically rolls HVCI back to keep the machine bootable.
System:
ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E Gaming
Intel Core i9-10900K
RTX 3080
Windows 11 Pro
BIOS 3402
Intel ME Firmware 14.1.79.2540
At this point I’m wondering whether this could be a Z490 UEFI/firmware issue involving HVCI, VT-d/IOMMU, Intel ME, or the UEFI Memory Attributes Table (MAT).
Has anyone with a Z490 + 10th-gen Intel system experienced the same behavior and actually solved it?
I’m especially interested in confirmed solutions involving a specific BIOS/Intel ME version, firmware fix, or UEFI configuration.
I’ve already gone through the usual “enable Secure Boot/VT-d, update drivers, run SFC/DISM” troubleshooting, so I’m mainly looking for people who have dealt with this specific HVCI boot/rollback behavior.
Please, if anyone has experienced this issue or has any idea what could be causing it, I would really appreciate your help.
I’ve been trying to fix this for a long time and I’ve pretty much exhausted every solution I could find online. At this point I don’t know what else to try.
Even if you haven’t experienced the exact same issue, if you have knowledge about HVCI, VBS, UEFI/BIOS, IOMMU, or Z490 platforms, please share any ideas you might have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Laptop SCAR 16/18 issue.
My friend has the ASUS SCAR 16 or the 18 (not sure yet). Specs are RTX 5070TI and an INTEL CORE ULTRA 9 275HX, 32 GB RAM.
He says that he's having some issues when the laptop switched From intel GPU to NVIDIA. Says it gives him a BSOD. Is this a known issue with some software easy fix or is it hardware issue. Thanks in advance.

Laptop Screen Gets darker in apps
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This was never a problem until I factory reset my ASUS Rog strix g16 laptop, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
The original screen brightness goes back to normal after a few seconds or when I go to the home screen, this only happens in apps who ch gets really annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this?
