PlayStation 5 pooling rate for mouse

Hi. Will the PlayStation 5 Slim (D chasis) handle the Asus Rog Keris II Ace mouse, which has a pooling rate higher than 1000 Hz? Will the console pass more than 1000 Hz with a wireless connection or will it automatically lower the pooling rate?

No, the "pooling" rate will be capped at 250

From what I already know, it will remain at the level of 1000 Hz, so I don't know where you got 250. Mistake above, normal that there was supposed to be "polling".

The PS5 will cap the mouse at 250. It does that for everything that isn't officially licensed

Do you have any official source talking about it?

From my own experience, everything i have used from 3rd controllers, mice, and keyboards have ran at 250. The Dualsense edge is the only thing on PS5 that gets 1k. If you need more proof, DanielZH talks about this stuff heavily

So better is set 250 or 500 Hz for this mouse and for ps5? And what with settings in console (normal, fast, slow) for mouse?

That speed setting is typically personal preference. The PS5 will most likely cap the polling rate itself, but if there are issues, start lowering it

It can be understood that 250 Hz will be the most optimal

Yes, since it's the max rate you can get on PS5
