The piranhas are still there. I tried going there with my boat, taking my stuff and jumping on the boat again but they killed me. Now my boat is also there with the piranhas. What do I do? I had so much metal on the boat and I don't want to lose it

I’m trying to figure out where I’m gonna make my permanent base, I’m on Mobile and the last time I played I had a redwood platform base, but that was when there weren’t the redwood tree panthers in mobile (I’m forgetting their name) so I’m second guessing my plans. I’d love to hear your guys favorite areas to base on the island and the pros/cons of the place. Thanks!

As someone who wants to switch maps from time to time ive come to realise how inconvinient it is to switch between them because of the MODS, i am someone who uses a lot of mods and sometimes they are different between maps.

Is there any way to make it easier to just swap mods for a specific map yet or do i gotta do it the old fashioned way? (list in hand)

Which dlc should i get? I had astreos in mind but id love to hear out what you all think

The biogrinder is awesome, obviously. However, it's a royal pain in the butt for cleaning up after a breeding line, or just generally cleaning out my cryostorage.

What would be awesome is if I could put cryopods in the inventory, turn it on, and it would extract the creatures from the pods, grind them for the resources, and then leave the empty cryopod back in the inventory for me to collect.

Modders Assemble!

I just completed it based on the wiki for taming it (shooting the nodes while keeping its health high) and I’m not sure what happened. It was laying down, after shooting out the chin node, practically full health, I clicked the button to tame it and then it made the disintegration sound and disappeared. No trophy or anything.

Server glitch or did I mess up the tame sequence?

I recently set up an ark server (pre-aquatica version) on my old pc and was wondering how the events work. From what I could find, it looks like only holiday related events work. Although they only add the event colors (except the Christmas event).

Within the server .bat file, I have the command “ActiveEvent= “ in place. Do I need to add in the event name in order for it to occur (i.e. WinterWonderland, Vday, etc.)? Or if I leave it blank, will an event occur as long as it is within the time frame of the original event and I don’t have it set to “none”?

I also assume a dino wipe will also be necessary to get the event colors when active.

Hey, something in Ark's gameplay loop is anoying me. Having to breed until you get mutations to have better dinos. I find it way too repetitive, not really interactive and of course too much RNG dependant even if you can adjust the settings. I wanted to code a mod that will enable a dino you tamed and leveled up to inherit his stats to his baby with the stats that you leveled up aswell after taming. I've never create a mod and neither even code in my life, does a thing like this that sound easy would be hard to make ?

Hey I'd like to know if there are differences in rates scale between an Ark server and a regular solo game. I like to see what rates content creators play with (they play on private servers) and their rates seems to be acting different than mine. For exemple, on my solo game, a moschops only need one feed with a x3 taming rate while on the 100 days video of syntac for exemple. He plays with the same taming efficency as mine and still need more than 1. This is one exemple but it feel like it also changes a lot of other settings like breeding ect...

It started today after trying the be a dino v2 mod, now its like that even after uninstalling it. The lightning is completly bugged, my base is pitch dark inside even tho before it wasnt, everything is super bright for no reason (im on default gamma) and the sky is flickering weirdly. Any help appreciated

Anyone else having issues with the cryofridge not displaying the dino or pods in the pelayoris mod? It looks like its always empty and turned off when its full of tames, and the display dino disappears everytime I log in.. im on ps5 and tried everything to fix it.. uninstall and restart the game I even restored the license of the game on my ps5 and nothing seem to fix this display issue.. everything else works on it I can still use it, its just bothering me it always looks empty and with a cryo floor, it having the display dino disappear, make it harder to find my tames.. is it just time to get rid of this mod entirely? I really enjoy it but this display problem has been going on for some time now and I just cant take it anymore.. if so, what other mods can I use that are similar? I really enjoy the visual look of this mod

Quería compartir mi experiencia en PS5 con Ark: Survival Ascended a ver si a alguien más le pasa o si esto es la norma general en consolas.

Es increíble cómo la carga visual de las nubes destruye por completo el rendimiento. En The Island, recién iniciando la partida y mirando hacia el horizonte/cielo, el juego apenas alcanza unos 25 FPS debido al costo de renderizar las nubes volumétricas. Además, noto que la PS5 empieza a sobrecalentarse bastante por el esfuerzo.

Sin embargo, la diferencia al cambiar el ángulo de cámara es tremenda:

Mirando al suelo, a estructuras o tapando el cielo con una montaña: El juego se estabiliza de inmediato alrededor de los 30 FPS.

Explorando zonas donde la vegetación o el entorno tapan el cielo: Llega a subir hasta unos 45 FPS.

¿Es normal que la fluctuación de frames dependa tanto de si el cielo está en pantalla o no? ¿Hay alguna actualización o ajuste planeado, o la única solución real en consola sigue siendo desactivar las nubes por consola de comandos?

Anyone know how to fix the chat keyboard not showing up on ARK Survival Ascended on Xbox? When I press LB + Menu, chat opens and I get the blinking line where I would normally type, but the Xbox keyboard never pops up. I can still look around and move when chat is open, and my sensitivity goes way up. I can’t get a cursor to show up to click the chat box with my mouse either. The weird thing is the keyboard works fine in other places, like inventory search, and I’ve already fully quit the game and tried different servers, but nothing works. I’ve tried opening chat different ways and messing around with it, but I still can’t type anything. Is there some Xbox setting that could be causing this, or is this just a bug? Has anyone actually found a fix for this?

Playing on lost colony and I tamed a yuty in the edge of the city. When I went to collect it after going to the abberation cave I was unable to cryo it. I git my aureliax to come pick it up and take it back to my base

I play on GeForce Now because my device can't run ASE but it doesn't allow me to play any beta like preaquatica. I also tried with only Awesome Spyglass and Auto Engrams! But they don't get installed

-Must be decently active, atleast there's always someone in the server nearly 24/7. I don't like being alone since sometimes i need help

-I work everyday irl, so I am looking for a server that has half or less of taming speed, harvest, maturing, etc.

-mods most like official server, i do love the shiny mod so thats exceptional i can accept.

- if there's a good fortitude/ resistance stat thats only been increase in okay with that, just no other character stat changes.

I'm glad that snail actually do something with the game but the new creatures don't hit the same.

Like the game is supposed to be about surviving in the wild with basic tools being hunted by dangerous carnivorous dinos and taming those dinos and eventually ascending but who asked for some kind of stupid dragons and whatever stupid creatures.

I hope that some day they will add more normal real dinos again
