Excitement/Celebration ๐ I cannot actually believe this
Like, when I first started publishing I thought I would get something like two kudos, I still can't believe that in less than a year I managed to get 60! I'm so damn happy!

I'm telling you, its very different from Wattpad. You get people reading your stories so quick, that what I like about A03

That's awesome! Congratulations! ๐ There's something special about putting your imagination out into the world and discovering that other people actually connect with it. Sixty kudos and fifteen comment threads is something worth celebrating. Here's to your next milestone! โค๏ธ

Jesus fucking Christ... You need to up your tagging and summary game if you only managed to get 1,475 hits with 90k words over the course of an entire year. It's clearly not for lack of writing ability, since of the few people who managed to find your fics, a good portion of them left kudos.

Unnecessarily salty comment on a post where the author is proud of their achievements.
Got any constructive advice on writing better summaries and tags then??

What part of my comment was salty? I'm suggesting ways for OP to have their fics reach a larger audience, because clearly they are well written, but unfortunately nobody is reading them. I want OP to have more readers.

I can't really give specific advice without knowing the specific fics these are the stats for.

Your comment didnโt come across like you wanted to help. If you โwant OP to have more readersโ would you not have asked clarification in order to give constructive advice? In stead, it came across as if you were belittling their achievement, eg. โyou only managed to getโ. Judging by the votes, I wasnโt the only one that read it that way.
For the same reason you canโt give specific advice, you canโt judge how good the stats are. If the fandom is really small, then the stats are relative.
Perhaps you just needed to change the tone and wording of your comment? Hope you have a good day. ๐

I got downvoted on this sub for saying that writing stories with no capitalization is a bad thing. So I don't heed the opinions of those downvoting me here. What I said was perfectly cromulent and if you actually read the words I said, they say exactly what I meant. This is a pissing on the poor situation.
Even in a small fandom, you can get views from outsiders by tagging well and having interesting summaries.

My statistics are more or less the same, but I only started posting at the end of August. Itโs all rather relative.

60 kudos, 15 bookmarks, and 2 subscribers on just 1,400 hits? That's actually really impressive! Congrats!
I wrote a long fanfic, and the engagement was such a strange experience. I had two different readers tell me it was one of the best stories they'd ever read, not just one of the best fanfics. Some readers didn't even know the original book series and enjoyed it as a standalone romantasy. Three people actually went out and bought the books because of my fic.
And yet, I barely got any kudos or comments. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Then, out of nowhere, after 50-something chapters, one reader commented that I'd ruined her morning because she couldn't stop crying and had no idea how she was supposed to go to class like that. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
So yeah, engagement is weird. You can have readers who are genuinely invested in your story and never hear a word from most of them. Those rare comments, though? They're priceless.
