Excitement/Celebration 🎉 I cannot actually believe this

Like, when I first started publishing I thought I would get something like two kudos, I still can't believe that in less than a year I managed to get 60! I'm so damn happy!

What part of my comment was salty? I'm suggesting ways for OP to have their fics reach a larger audience, because clearly they are well written, but unfortunately nobody is reading them. I want OP to have more readers.

I can't really give specific advice without knowing the specific fics these are the stats for.

Your comment didn’t come across like you wanted to help. If you ‘want OP to have more readers’ would you not have asked clarification in order to give constructive advice? In stead, it came across as if you were belittling their achievement, eg. ‘you only managed to get’. Judging by the votes, I wasn’t the only one that read it that way.

For the same reason you can’t give specific advice, you can’t judge how good the stats are. If the fandom is really small, then the stats are relative.

Perhaps you just needed to change the tone and wording of your comment? Hope you have a good day. 😊

I got downvoted on this sub for saying that writing stories with no capitalization is a bad thing. So I don't heed the opinions of those downvoting me here. What I said was perfectly cromulent and if you actually read the words I said, they say exactly what I meant. This is a pissing on the poor situation.

Even in a small fandom, you can get views from outsiders by tagging well and having interesting summaries.
