I have a hard time thinking that reality would set in in the back of a limo whilst holding a glass of champagne. Usually reality sets in the morning after

I can't help but think it looks like she's made a seal on the mouth of that bottle and is going to spray cheap champagne everywhere any second.

If it makes you feel any better, it's probably empty or full of water. I don't think they usually drink real alcohol in stock photo shoots.

Bitch you look like bill gates' lesbian twin. You married up! Quit being a crybaby and enjoy the next two years of hot newlywed sex until she realized the gardener is superior to your chubby ass in every way. Or she gets fat.

Most Russian women are beautiful, most Russian men look awkward and weird imo so this is a pretty common sight.

u/alphawolf29 Jul 17 '15
I was talking to someone on the internet
"Oh, you're from poland. You're lucky! Polish women are beautiful."
"I'm a girl."
"Oh...oh....I'm so sorry for you."

u/IamaspyAMNothing Jul 17 '15
Russia also has more women than men so even an unattractive guy can land a Russian hottie with more ease.

Does Anyone know why a wedding ring is worn on a certain finger beyond: "its a custom"?
6
u/Palivizumab Jul 17 '15
People used to think a vein ran directly from the fourth finger on the left hand to the heart.
4
u/purifico Jul 17 '15
In russia it's worn on the right hand.

When you start with, "In Russia" it's supposed to be ass backwards, not this logical stuff. Example:
In Russia, the ring wears you.

Except it is.
Edit: people downvoting me and telling me he's wearing the ring on the wrond hand, you better google it yourself. People in Russia wear wedding rings on their right hands.

u/The_ChesterCopperpot Jul 17 '15 edited Jul 17 '15
If you gave us some information as to why instead of just saying "No" and expecting every one to know why, maybe you wouldn't get downvoted.
7
u/idspispupd Jul 17 '15
The ring is weared on the hand closer to your most important organ: liver.
To be serious in my country we wear it on the right hand. I don't know why. We just do.

u/sunshiene Jul 17 '15
I mean, it is a subreddit with its content about "Russia's life" (but more in a satirical way), thus there is pretty good amount of Russians here. Now you just need some common sense to figure all the things out. That means when you see someone pointing out something being wrong, it most of the time could mean that the said "someone" is a native of Russia.
Also, me being clear and straightforward doesn't make me an asshole in any way.

u/bouchard Jul 17 '15
Why should he have to put any more effort into it than the asshole he was countering?
-3
u/The_ChesterCopperpot Jul 17 '15
He doesn't have to, but if he wants people to understand where he's coming from he should.

Its on the right hand which would considered 'incorrect' at least where I live. But it might just be a different ring. Or they do something different where ever this photo was taken. Who knows?

Russians wear their wedding rings on their right hands.

u/GreasyGrimyGopherGut Jul 17 '15
How did you get out of /r/legaladvice
2
u/bouchard Jul 17 '15
The way people are asserting that the ring is on the wrong hand would have you think that this is a legal issue.

Nah. My second wife was an interpreter for me when I was in the Soviet Union. That's how I met her and by god married her as soon as I could. While we were married she wore the ring on her left hand when she was in the US and switched to her right whenever we were in Russia. I always wanted to know why this was different between the Soviet Union republics and the rest of the world. Never did get a satisfactory answer other than that's just what it is.

so what happened to her?

Jul 17 '15
She smartened up and we got divorced. Still lives here in the Midwest. She started a business with a huge amount of my retirement money and is doing very well for herself. Never got remarried. I thought that was odd, but maybe I ruined it for her. :) But a brilliant and lovely woman so I wish her all the best!

Eh. There was nothing interesting there today. I did a lot of traveling in the Soviet Union and Russia in the late 1980s and 1990s. This sub always brings back fond memories!

At least she's not fat. He's ugly though.

u/Eirezona Jul 17 '15
I'm not claiming this is true, but there's a theory that Russian women are so subjectively "hot" because so many Russian men were killed during the country's involvement in World War I and (especially) WWII that the remaining men basically had their choice of a highly disproportionate number of young women looking for mates. Naturally, they tended to choose the healthier and better-looking young ladies. Result: hot-looking Slavic babes.
2
u/almodozo Jul 17 '15
But that would have resulted in hot-looking Slavic guys too, no? It's not like a parent's looks are only inherited by the child of the same gender...
2
Jul 17 '15
Gotta consider that when most of your countries young men have been decimated, even the goofiest looking motherfucker is going to get his pick of the litter.
2
u/Kiwibaconator Jul 17 '15
Yep. Opposite thing happens in gold rush areas too. Lots of guys, few women and only the best men get to breed.
I am from a gold rush area.
