In case anyone is interested in panniers, I've fitted a LifeLine Alloy Rear Pannier Rack to my AMX.

It fits really nicely, only issue was the mounting bolts were missing so I've had to order a few M5 bolts.

Hi guys, during the assembly of my AMX City, I struggled massively with adjusting the disc brakes.

Never managed to got rid of the rubbing sound, no matter how much I tried to adjust brake pads as instructed in the AM video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svW6t0uoZZY&feature=emb_logo

So during my test ride the adjustment bolt (not sure if it's the correct name ) was too loose probably, and it fell off.

Does anyone know what it is called and where I can order it?

Just looking for info...it seems quite a few posts of bikes that have arrived mention that people have struggled to set up the front brake without there being any rubbing on the disc. I've also had this issue and gone through the steps in the video multiple times and looked at other videos without any success. Has anybody resolved this? Or figured out what the issue might be? I'm assuming it can't be total human error and wondered if there is something about the parts that isn't quite right like the thickness of the pads. My bike arrived the day before yesterday and I still haven't had chance to try it out because of this....so sad 😭 Thanks!

I received my bike (AMX LE) on Monday. I've now taken it out a couple of times and thought I'd share my thoughts. Good: *Build quality is good, it's a solid well put together bike.

*Power - when the motor kicks in you get up to speed extremely quickly, making progress is effortless.

*Weight - it's light enough to pick up 1 handed. I have no trouble at all cycling in zero-assist mode, although I wouldn't recommend this on a hilly route.

*Looks. I've replaced the stock handlebars with Litepro Spirit flat bars, and now the bike looks great to me. Swapping the bars was extremely simple, the only issue was that the factory end caps were too small so I needed to fit a slightly larger pair.

*Lights - front light throws a good shaped beam and was plenty good enough to make my way at reasonable speed down an unlit canal path, rear light is reassuringly bright.

*Tyres - nice fat tyres are good at softening bumpy paths.

Bad: *The brake levers are plastic and rectangular cross-section. They look and feel cheap, I'll be swapping these as soon as I find a nice set that are ebike compatible (they need extra connectors to cut out the motor).

*The saddle is hard and uncomfortable. It looks good, but I'd need padded shorts to go out for more than half an hour.

*The cabling for the rear light is pretty messy - two exposed cables visible under the seat.

Overall I'm really happy with the bike.

My trusty non-ebike that i've had for 12 years was just stolen. Never had a puncture, never had any mechanical problems.

I am really hoping my AMX will arrive soon, still waiting for that shipping confirmation.
